Boruto Pov:

I kick the closet pebble. It ricochets of the road and clatters away.

I hate today.

My stomach can't be happy today. I ate food and now I feel like I'm going to hurl. Some bitch ass royals want me. Or at least some of them do. And I don't know who to trust. Usually I'm great at knowing who to trust; no one.

I have a headache just trying to figure out those peoples motives.

The Queen-Hinata- seems to be genuinely nice. But looks are always deceiving.

The blonde dude-King Naruto-is kinda dumb. But who knows if he's actually the mastermind.

The raven hair man-Sasuke Uchiha, the general of Konoha and the last full blood Shadow-Walker- holds suspicion about everything I do. I respect that. But his intentions are shady as anything.

The shifter-she told my mind clone her name is Meiko- is curious and all over the place. I wonder where her bond mate is.

When I was six I ran into a pair of shifters. I stayed with them until they tried to kill me.

I take out my confusion on another pebble but this time it hits a random pedestrian. He looks rich. With the tailored, gold silk tunic and pressed, wrinkle-free pants it certainly gives the impression.

The man glares at me and jerks his head sharply at me. I know the gesture. It's where the rich bitches tell their lap dog to smack me up.

I'm not wrong. A petite woman with bronze skin and glass eyes steps closer to me. She's most likely a Faean woman. They all pack powerful punches and she's no excuse.

Her left palm swipes up. I can hear the compressed air whistle inbetween the span of her hand and my cheek. If I evade the hit I'll just get a bigger beating. If I don't I'll be going against my own values.

I select the latter option and sidestep the blow. It puts me on par with the Richie.

Hmm, I could make this more fun. If I let her knock me into her employer I can swipe his cash. I could tackle him and make her lose her job though.

I need money. I take the former option.

This time when her fist crashes into my stomach I allow it. The motion makes my head spin and I almost forget where I am for a second.

I know I'm on the ground something is screaming underneath me. A soft hand roughly hauls me to my feet but not before I slip my hand into a pocket. I shove whatever I grabbed into a Fae blessed pocket and get tossed.

The top of my head collides with a wall and I lay there dizzy for a moment before I throw up my lunch/dinner. I suppose six counts as dinner time. I don't know. I usually eat whenever I get the chance.

The Ritchie and his pet stroll away laughing. Or at least the Ritchie does. I can't hear a sound from the Fae woman.

I pull myself into a sitting position and wipe away the vomit. I really just need to keep some food down.

Depending on how much money I make tonight I'll buy myself a nice dinner.

I lift myself up into a standing position and glance around. Not a single person thought about coming to my rescue.

Mentally I give the entire kingdom the finger. It's too much work to do it individually.

I check whatever I grabbed out of the pocket of the lord. Some of the stuff I've swiped I'd rather not have seen at all.
