Chapter 53

The day is nearing. The full moon day. The day they'll have to consumate their marriage and become each other's forever. Even though they have been married for almost a year, the elders will only consider them married once they consumate their marriage and carry each other's mark.

To say Jungkook is excited would be an understatement. But more then excited, he's nervous. But he's glad that his mate is Taehyung. He knows that he won't be judged or questioned for his looks, inside out. He might look like a regular alpha from outside, but his hidden self speaks something else.

His mother has always kept him hidden from the outside world as if he was some jewel. From what he has heard, he wasn't even shown to the commoners of Pluotiris until he turned six thousand years old. Only the close family and friends new how he looked. Which included Taehyung.

When he was young, he couldn't understand why he was hidden while all the other children his age were allowed to play and wander around. He used to think that it's because of his status as the Prince of Pluotiris but it wasn't the entire truth. Later, after years of reading different books, he found out that his kind are rare.

Being born as an alpha but have omegan qualities was rare, born with a purpose, written in the fate of a trueblood. In his case, for Taehyung.

Jungkook was written in Taehyung's fate. A treasure for Taehyung for all the good Karmas the alpha had done in his past life. Jungkook always wondered why him of all people? But then he looks at Taehyung's eyes which speak nothing but love for him and his rattling heart calms down.

When Jungkook thinks of the full moon day, which is soon, with only three days left, he wonders if what he has imagined his first time is going to be, will come true. These days his mind wonders around the full moon night a lot more than other conversations he has with people around him, even Taehyung.

He'll definitely have to talk to Jin about this or he'll die out of nervousness. He wants their first time to be perfect.

He gasps when a pair of arms slide over his waist, pulling him closer to a broad chest. He soon hears a chuckle right below his right ear as his alpha hooks his face in the crook of his neck.

"What were you thinking about that you didn't even realise my presence?" Taehyung's husky voice rings through his ears as he basks in its symphony.

The alpha had gone early in the morning to visit the borders as a part of his regular weekly routine. Jungkook was supposed to join him, but his inner omegan wolf has been acting weird these days.

It has become very difficult to live without Taehyung's touch. His omegan wolf have been craving for the alpha's touch now that the full moon is getting closer.

He couldn't risk drooling for the alpha in front of the soldiers. Even his scent changes whenever he's around Taehyung. Luckily no one but Taehyung could recognize the change in his scent. He's glad that the alpha didn't comment on this change Or else it would have been embarrassing.

"Thinking about you." Jungkook smiles as Taehyung hums. They have been flirting a lot. Taehyung has been gone as far as hitting him with some cheesy pickup lines these days. He wonder where the alpha learned all this from..

"What exactly were you thinking about me? " Taehyung asks as he places a peck right above the Luna's scent gland.

"I am not going to tell you. It's a secret. By the way, how was your visit to the borders? " Jungkook asks. He tries to change the topic. It would be too embarrassing for him to let Taehyung know about his thoughts.

"You are changing the topic, love. And, everything is good. Our soldiers are happier now that they have sun roofs made every thousand meters for them to rest. They have shared their thanks to you for your idea." Taehyung murmurs as he turns Jungkook around.
