the next morning, all of the girls are sitting at a breakfast table in the food hall, quietly enjoying their cereal. it's fairly quiet, but you can hear girls whispering, and talking softly.
rosie nudges jennie's shoulders lightly. "that girl is pointing at you." the girl says matter of fact ly.
"yeah that's cuz she knows i am so stupid for sitting next to you." jennie says snarkily, spooning a large mouthful of coco pops into her smirking mouth.
lisa and jisoo snigger, eating their own breakfast.
"okay. do you guys drink your cereal milk?" lisa asks, tipping her bowl to her mouth and slurping loudly. this earns a couple disgusted looks from the girls across the room, but also deranged laughter from jisoo, jennie and rosie.
"yeah, you're crazy if you don't." jennie says, sipping some of her own.
rosie slaps jennie's arm, earning a pout from the brunette.
"you're disgusting. it's just cold, sickly sweet milk with chunks of cereal floating around. it's literally vomit." rosie declares, staring at the milk in her own bowl acting like it's done something to her.
spoiler alert: it hasn't.
"i'm gonna have to agree with rosie here. it's pretty disgusting. jen, you and lisa can slurp all the milk you want. away from me and chaeng."
jisoo teases, causing all the girls to burst out in uncomfortable laughter.
the girl's friendly banter is soon interrupted when a tall man stops by the table.
"hey, uh, i'm bangchan. i'm one of YG's assistants?" he says nervously, looking at the girls.
"oh, hey, what's up? are we in trouble?" jisoo says, standing up suddenly.
"oh, no, quite the opposite actually." he says, laughing awkwardly. "you're needed in the meeting room, it's just past your cabin. i can guide you if you need?" he asks kindly, smiling at lisa, who he notices is staring at him.
"yeah, that's be great actually. ready to go guys?" lisa says instantly, getting up and scraping the chair loudly.
everyone agrees, and they are now being guided by a cute, seemingly australian dude to a meeting they had no idea about.

"thankyou for your time girls." YG says smoothly, pulling out a chair for himself as the girls nod and sit down.
"now, i'm sure you have seen the little video of you guys circulating around the internet today?" he asks, pushing his computer into the middle of the table, which shows a video of the girls singing and playing guitar in the cabin last night.
everyone's eyes widen.
"i mean, i saw that we were being filmed, but i didn't know someone had posted it?" jennie says curiously, pulling the computer towards her.
the brunette watches curiously, before jisoo scolds her and pushes back into the centre for everyone to see.
"now, i'm seeing so much raw talent in here, and my supervisors and i have agreed that if you think it's a good idea, you can start training as a group? this would hopefully and eventually lead to debuting... as a group?" he suggests, passing out papers to everyone.
all the girls just stare at him dumbfounded.
"sorry, what?" lisa asks, staring at him like he just killed someone.
he stares right back.
"well, i mean, if you don't want to start just yet, then i-" he starts, but is not able to finish before the girls have finally processed what he has just said, and jump up from their seats, squealing excitedly and shaking eachother.
"JISOO DID YOU HEAR WHAT HE JUST SAID?"
"OH MY GOD, DO WE GET TO PICK THE NAME?"
"DO I GET A RAPPING POSITION?"
"DESIGNER CLOTHES!!!!"

the girls blast through the rest of their day at the boot camp, talking excitedly on the hike, discussing frantically in the toilet block, and coming up with names for the upcoming group.
"how about magnum?" jennie asks, flipping through a notebook feverishly as rosie sits on lisa's bunk bed plaiting her hair.
"that sounds a bit evil." jisoo dismisses jennie.
"pink punk!" lisa exclaims from the top of the bunk, jumping up slightly.
"STOP MOVING." rosie growls.
"jeez, okay then." the blonde responds quietly.
"i don't think we should rush it." jisoo says.
"we still actually have to train so much before anything is even slightly possible. things don't happen quickly in this industry." she adds, stuffing a marshmallow into her mouth.
"where'd you get that from?" jennie whisper-asks, raising her eyebrow before lisa interrupts.
"hey, but how cute was that bangchan guy?" the blonde says slyly, earning a "facts." from rosie, and an "EW!" from both jisoo and jennie.
"you're too good for him." jisoo says matter of factly, popping another marshmallow into her mouth.
"WOULD YOU STOP BEING A ASS AND GIVE ME A MARSHMALLOW?!" jennie finally screams at jisoo, causing both the girls to burst out into fits of laughter.
"aww!" lisa praises jisoo for her comment.
"i'm really not though, i snore a lot." the blonde adds casually.
"facts." rosie says for the second time.
