to answer jennie's question, lisa wasn't having the best day either. she was borrowing jisoo's car, driving back and forth through the city to her new apartment.

she finally hauled the last couple of boxes into the living room, collapsing on the couch and exhaling loudly.
she barely has time to breathe before her phone starts ringing.

it's a foreign number, but it's in her city, so she takes a chance and picks it up.

"hello? who is this?" she asks timidly, flipping absentmindedly through an instruction book on how to assemble a bed frame.

"oh, hi. i'm not sure if you remember me, i'm bang chan?" a nervous voice answers through the blonde's phone.
she smiles at hearing his voice, sitting up so she can properly focus on the conversation.

"are you kidding? of course i remember you, i'm seriously not that dumb. what's up?" she asks curiously, chucking the instruction book on the floor carelessly.

"oh, haha. well, i kind of had to raid my boss's phone book, just so i could find your number, i was going to ask... are you doing anything next friday night?" he finally chokes out apprehensively.

lisa eye's widen, and she smirks.

"uh, nothing. why do you ask?" she replies casually.

"did you wanna grab dinner? i would love to know you better." he proposes, laughing nervously.

"oh! well, that sounds doable. i would love to. have you got a place in mind?" she continues, standing up to wander aimlessly around the kitchen.

"sweet! there's a dumpling place right down the road from yg building, how does that sound?" he perks up drastically once he realises lisa has actually said yes.

"great. see you then!" lisa purses her lips, smiling.

bangchan chuckles loudly through the phone.
"alright! bye!"

jennie pov

i'm sitting on the cold hard ground, taking vocal lessons from a dude who sounds like he's choking on seaweed.

"no, jennie, you need to go higher in the octave!" he says, trying to encourage me to do something that my body is not made for.

"sir, i'm sorry, but this is my range." i say, rolling my eyes internally.

people are so dumb.

i spot lisa in the corner, stretching out her long toned legs.

her hair's up, which i've actually never seen before. she looks totally different, but good different.

i snap out of my thoughts and stand up slowly to grab a drink.

schedule is crazy.
monday- dance
tuesday- group update meeting + group training
wednesday- dance
thursday- rap
friday- cardio
saturday- vocal
sunday: group training

very boring and tiring.

and not very fulfilling, but hey, i've worked hard to get here and now 3 of my friends, wait, no, 2 of my friends AND one person i'm pretending to hate are going to debut with me as a group.

we're on a tight two-month schedule, since we replaced the group planning to debut in january. yg does not like schedule mess ups.

he's already talking about moving into dorms, which i'm kind of nervous about. what if no-one else can cook?

"jennie! back to class!" my vocal instructor tells angrily at me, snapping me out of my thoughts for the second time.

i sigh heavily, and flick my hair out of my face.
