after the girls have showered, much to the dread of rosie, they make their way up to the management building, knocking on yg's meeting room door gently.

he opens it quickly, and beckons the girls in with small smile.

they all nod thanks to him and sit down awkwardly on the table, as rosie reaches out to get a chocolate from a little bowl in the middle, lisa slaps her hand back.

jennie rolls her eyes.

"so, as you all now know thanks to jisoo, you are going to debut." yg says calmly, placing his hand atop the other.

they all nod enthusiastically, smiling like they're being forced to.

"great, so i thought i'd just talk to you guys about debut. you've already met teddy, how did you guys feel about him today?" he asks, gesturing to the girls.

"he was really nice, sir. he makes great music and he's easy to work with." jisoo says calmly, looking to the other girls for reassurance, who all smile and nod.

"great. he's already made two tracks for you guys. overall you get to pick, but we might override your opinion if need be. you'll meet with your stylists, which is usually the fun part, so our past groups have said. they'll do you hair, and come up with your general aesthetic. you have input on this, but it's also based off what role you play in the group."
he explains, looking around the table, flipping a sheet of paper.

you can feel the energy radiating off the girls as they whisper to each other and bounce their legs up and down rapidly in excitement.

"this leads to you roles. and after careful consideration: jisoo, you're our visual and vocal. rosé, you're our main vocal, big job. jennie, you got main rapper and vocal, also very important. lisa, you're our main dancer and rapper." he informs the girls, who just cannot contain their excitement anymore, gasping and jumping up from the seats to hug each other.

"jennie we're the rappers!" lisa says enthusiastically, giving jennie a loud high five, causing her to burst out into uncontrollable laughter.

rosie and jisoo jump up and down, as the eldest grabs jennie's hand, pulling lisa with her. they all embrace in a giant hug, talking excitedly in everyone's ears.

when they finally calm down (when yg gives them the look),
they settle down, legs still jittering.

"well, you all took that well. all that's left to do is record the single, film the video, and officiate your name." he says happily, sliding a piece of paper over to the group, who inspect it carefully.

"just a legal form for your name, i assume we're still going with.. blackpink? was it?" yg asks carefully, pointing out the name at the top of the page.

lisa almost faints at the sight of it on paper. she probably already fainted anyway, so it wouldn't make much difference.

she got to be a rapper! that's really all she ever wanted, plus, jennie will be there with her.

jisoo grins widely, staring at the other girls for approval, who all nod maniacally. she chuckles lightly, signing her name on the line.

"well, there we go." she says simply, passing the pen to rosie, who signs willingly. jennie and lisa do the same, and then they all lean back into their chairs, cross armed.

"we're a group now." jennie says cooly, smirking at lisa.

the blonde smirks right back.

"indeed we are. i wanna change my hair color." she says confidently, winking at rosie.
