Chapter 18

They are not only focusing on bringing down Aliea Academy. But they are also focusing on keeping me safe. It makes me feel even more guilty remembering what my initial motive was. I'm truly glad that I chose to cut all ties with those monsters.

Y/N P.O.V

Coach told me to stay on the bench, while the rest of the team will be playing against the Aliea Academy. I didn't argue with her, knowing she must have a plan for that. I just sit on the bench while everyone prepares themselves to play against Epsilon.

"Good luck, everyone..." I said. They turn their heads to look at me. "Be sure to beat them" I said. They grin at me and raise their fists in the air, letting out a cheer. I smile softly at them. They turn around and rush towards the field. I stare at them worriedly. Epsilon is much more powerful than Gemini Storm. I surely hope that they'd be okay. They never give up. So I believe that they will be.

The match begins and I just watch quietly. Our team is struggling to keep up with Epsilon. I watch worriedly as they're starting to look tired. The ball is then kicked high into the air. Fubuki jumps for it, along with two other players from Epsilon. I watch as Fubuki's atmosphere changes once again. He uses the Epsilon's players shoulders as leverage to jump higher and claim the ball.

"Eternal Blizzard!" Fubuki exclaimed as he use his ice Hissatsu at Desarm. Desarm smirks at this and lift his hand. He stops the shoot without using any technique. But Desarm looks like he's excited about it. I've never seen him reacted that way. I watch worriedly as Fubuki looks frustrated that his shoot didn't make it in.

I watch as they all look exhausted. I stand up and turn to look at coach Hitomiko. "Please let me play" I said. She turn her head to look at me. But she didn't say anything. "Please!! If they keep going like this. They're not going to last much longer! Coach Hitomiko... switch me in!" I said. She just turns her head away. I clenched my hands into tight fists. I turn my head to look forward as they all try their best to keep up against Epsilon.

Fubuki's attack becomes more violent. He keeps going with his relentless attacks against Desarm. Which each attacks failed. He looks even more frustrated each time his attempts failed.

In the end, after trying repeatedly. He finally managed to get a score. "That's all for today. We'll fight again next time" Desarm said. He turned his head to look at me. I just stare at him. He turn around and disappears with the rest of them. Fubuki tries to chase after them, but Endou is quick to stop him.

"Fubuki!" I said. I rush towards Endou who struggles to keep him still. I place my hands on his shoulders. "Calm down. It's over... we'll have our next match against them again soon" I said. He slowly relaxes and turn back to normal. I smile softly at him. He blinks his eyes before giving me a small smile.

It's time for us to get going to our next destination. I sit on the chair inside the caravan next to Fubuki. I claim my spot next to the window because I enjoy watching the scenery as we ride. I hear everyone is talking about Kogure and how they wished he could've come with us.

"Er... um... I don't know how to say this, but..." I hear Kabeyama muttered. Someoka turn around and let out a yell out of shock. Everyone turn their heads along with me. My eyes widen when I realize Kogure is here. He let out a laugh as he stares at us with a mischievous glint in his eyes. Looks like he has decided to join us after all.

Some of us aren't happy with the fact that Kogure is here. While the others accepted him, stating it would add more power for our team. I don't mind him with us. The only thing I do mind is... his little mischief.

I winced as Endou falls forward because his shoelaces are tied together. "KOGURE!!!" He yelled out. Kogure only laughs at his achievements. Otonashi scolds him, making me let out a giggle as Kogure seems to only be scared of her.

I hear a ding and turn my head to see Coach Hitomiko opening her phone. "Kageyama has escaped. He had set up a true Teikoku Academy in Ehime" she said, turning her head to look at us. I tilt my head slightly as I furrow my eyebrows in confusion, having no idea who that is or Teikoku Academy. I turn my head to the side and notice Kidou looking tensed at the news.

Kidou notices my look. He starts explaining to me what happened back then. Seems like Kidou was someone who was under the influence of this Kageyama. He was manipulated by that wicked man. I can't believe there was someone as wicked as him in this world. He might have been as bad as than the Aliea Academy... if not, he's a lot worst.

Now someone like him has escaped the prison. A man like him must be stopped before more people get hurt in his hands. Which means, our next destination will be Ehime.

Time-skip

We're standing at the meeting point. But there's no one here. Except for a boy. He suddenly turns around, kicking a ball right at Endou. Endou is quick to catch the ball.

Turns out he's the one who sent an email to our coach, stating we wouldn't have agreed to come if he sent the email with his own name. He introduces himself as Fudou Akio. He requested for us to come with him to the True Teikoku Academy. We head inside the caravan. Fudou sits next to Kidou.

From time to time, I can feel Fudou's gaze on me. But I just try to ignore him. I want nothing to do with a guy like him.

Fudou P.O.V

I have never seen that girl before. She must be a new addition to the Raimon Eleven. I know she's aware that I had been staring at her. But she completely ignores me. I feel a smirk growing on my face as I keep my gaze on the h/c haired girl.

Do whatever it'll take to convince the girl with h/c hair to join True Teikoku... there's more to her than meet in the eyes the commander's voice echoed in my head. It must be her that he was talking about. More to her than meet in the eyes, huh? What's her name again? I heard the others called her L/N. But I don't know her full name.

I'll have to give her an offer, maybe she would join True Teikoku Academy. We'll have to show her that we're the strongest team there is and she would want to join us. She'll be an amazing addition to our team.
