We ended up near the sea. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. That is until Fudou pointed at a distance. I jump back in fright when a submarine emerges from the sea. That's True Teikoku?!
The door opens along with a platform. A man wearing a pair of sunglasses stares down at us. Kidou tensed up at the sight of that man. Kidou and Endou enters the ship, leaving the rest of us outside. We want to go along with them but Fudou forbids us, stating it's something only them should know.
It didn't take long for us to find out that we had been challenged into a match against the Teikoku Academy. We ended up in their soccer field. I look around the area, trying to see who our opponents would be. Apparently, two of them are Kidou's old teammates. I have bad feeling about this. This isn't going to end well.
I've been placed as an offense player. I stand near Fubuki and Kidou. They turn to look at me. I give them a curt nod. The whistle is glow and the game has begun.
Sakuma managed to get his possession on the ball. He lift his leg back. "No..." Kidou breathed out. In turn my head to look at him. His expression looks like he's horrified. "Don't shoot, Sakuma!!! That's a forbidden technique!!" He yelled out. But Sakuma didn't listen to him. He still use the technique to shoot at Endou.
Endou tries to block the attack. But he failed. I watch as he drops on the ground. "Endou!!" I yelled out. I rush up to him and drop on my knees. "Are you okay?" I said, staring at him with a worried gaze. He turned his head to look at me.
"I'm okay. I'm sorry I couldn't protect the goal" he said. He looks like he's in pain from Sakuma's shoot. I turn my head to look at Sakuma. He also looks like he's in pain. Kidou said that technique is forbidden. Why'd he said that? What's the deal with that Hissatsu?
Kidou explains to us what the consequences are when one uses that technique. I turn my head to look at Sakuma. He's breathing heavily and his face shows obvious pain. I can't believe Kageyama forced him to use that kind of technique. How wicked can that man be?
"We just have to focus on not letting Sakuma get a hold of the ball..." I said, turning my head to look at them. They turn their heads to look at me. "We need to use our speed to make sure we'd outrun them. Kazemaru and I can handle it. Right, Kazemaru?" I said. I turn to look at Kazemaru. He nod his head at me, making me grin.
We head back to the field. The sound of the whistle lets us know that the game has begun once again. "Give me the ball!!" I yelled out. Ichinose kicks the ball to me. I get it and rush forward. Sakuma stands in my way. He try to get the ball from me. I move out of the way.
"Listen to me, Sakuma. That technique is risky and you know it! Stop this... you won't be able to play soccer if you let this continue" I said. He yelled at me, telling me I wouldn't understand his feelings. "I do understand!! I was paralyzed and I was desperate to be able to play again! I don't want you to go through the same!" I said. His eyes widen at what I said.
But his eyes darkens as he tries to get the ball again. "I'm not weak like you!" He exclaimed. He keeps trying to steal the ball from me. I stare at him with a disappointed look.
I shake my head, realizing that I won't be able to talk him out of this. Looks like we've got no choice but to defeat them with a true soccer play. I gather my strength on my feet, and speeds forward.

I stop in front of the goal. I turn to look at everyone to see them staring at me in shock, probably didn't expect me to be able to run so fast.
I jump and do a flip. "Vampiric Draining!" I yelled out. I kick the ball towards the keeper name Genda. I land on the ground and breathe heavily.
"Beast Fang!!" Genda exclaimed. My eyes widen when he actually succeed in stopping my technique. Not long after he succeeded. He collapse to his knees, breathing heavily as his face showed pain.
"Impossible..." I muttered to myself. My body sways a little. But I managed to keep my balance. "Damn... I've used up two of my ultimate techniques back to back. It's draining my energy" I said. I try my best to stay awake. I'm not sure if I can last much longer if things continues this way. I wish I was as fit as before.
According to Kidou. It's another forbidden technique that's been sealed off along with the Emperor Penguin No. 1. His comment makes us feel uneasy. We have to win this game if we want to wake them up. But if we continue to fight back. They'd use those technique that would destroy their bodies. I don't know what I can do at this point.
The first half comes to an end. As soon as the whistle rang. My knees buckled under me. I fall on my knees, landing on the ground with a thud.
"L/N?!" A voice yelled. I turn my head weakly to see it's Kidou. The others are also running towards me. "You shouldn't be pushing yourself too much, L/N. That's it for you. You're not playing the second half. We'll switch you with another player" he said. I frown at what he's said. He gently wrap my arms around his neck. He place his hands behind my knees and on my back. He stands up with me in his arms.
"No... I can still go" I said. He shakes his head, letting me know it's not up for an argument. He walks towards our bench and sits me down. "I can still play, Kidou. I'm worried about your friends. I know how painful it was not being able to play soccer. I want to stop them" I said.
"Look... I appreciate your concern for my friends. But I can't stand seeing you in such state" he said, placing his hand on my shoulder. I frown at what he said. He turn to look at the coach. "Please switch L/N, coach" he said.
"No, coach... I can still play" I said. Kidou turns to look at me with an unhappy expression. "I'm a part of this team. Everyone is trying their best to win this match to make Sakuma and Genda realize their mistakes. I want to help out too. I just can't sit back and do nothing while watching my friends fight like this!" I said. I turn to look at our coach. I give her a pleading gaze.
"Please don't switch me off, Coach. I promise you, I'm all right" I said. In the end, coach agrees to let me keep playing the match. Kidou seems unhappy with this. But I don't give a mind to him. I'm done with just watching them play like their lives depends on it. I want to fight with them. I'll be stronger and we'll be able to win this match.
