Chapter 33

"But you knew!! You knew and you still let him play!!" I yelled angrily as I point at her. Everyone turns their heads to look at the coach. She only said that her focus is only on creating the strongest soccer team on earth. She turns around, leaving us in disbelief. Tears starts to roll down my cheeks as I turn to look at Fubuki, still in shock about the news we just received.

Forgive us, Fubuki...

Y/N P.O.V

I sit on the chair next to the hospital bed. I watch quietly as Fubuki sleeps. The doctor said he's all right. There's no serious injury inflicted on his body. Which makes all of us feel relieved.

"I'm sorry for all the pain and pressure we've inflicted on you, Fubuki..." I said. I smile sadly as his eyes are still closed. I slowly move to stand up. "You're one of my precious friend, Fubuki. I know you probably wishes to be more than that for me. But I'm sorry I can't answer to your love or the others, at least... not now. We have to focus on fighting the Aliea Academy. We need you... but if you don't wish to fight anymore, I understand. It must be hard for you, yeah?" I said. I let out a sigh and move to stand up. I turn around and walks towards the door. I turn to look at Fubuki one more time, before finally leaving.

I make my way back to the school ground. I turn my head to see Kazemaru and Endou sitting by the riverbank. I furrowed my eyebrows as I watch them. I notice Endou shaking Kazemaru. I caught on a word 'leaving.' My eyes widen when I realize Kazemaru is leaving Raimon Eleven.

Kazemaru stops in front of me when he finally takes notice of me. "You're leaving, Kazemaru?" I asked. He lowers his gaze, to avoid making eye-contact with me. I walk up to him and places my hands on his shoulders. "Tell me you're joking, Kazemaru... tell me!" I said, as I lightly shake his shoulders.

"I'm sorry, Y/N... I'm not as strong as you" he said. He places his hands on mine, gently removing my hands from his shoulders. "I don't deserve you. The guy you like probably isn't me, right?" He said.

"I..." I stuttered out. I can't say who I like. Not right now. We all made a promise that I will answer on the day we won against the Aliea Academy. Kazemaru walks past me. I shake my head as I clenched my hands into tight fists. "Remember when I was trying to leave Raimon?" I asked, turning around to face him. He stops walking but keeps his back facing me. I step closer to him.

"How much you and the others pleaded me not to leave. Remember that, Kazemaru? How you guys ended up confessing your love for me. I feel complicated that day. But for you guys... I stayed" I said. He slowly turns around to face me. Tears starts gathering in my eyes.

"You and the others gave me strength, Kazemaru. I'm sorry I couldn't give an answer about who I like right now. It's just doesn't seem to be the right time with all the chaos the Aliea Academy caused. But I promised I will the day we finally defeated Aliea Academy" I said. He only stays silent as he stares at me.

I walk towards him, gently grabbing his hand with both of mine. I stare at him with a pleading gaze. "Won't you stay and wait for that to happen?" I asked. He turned his head away from me. I bit my lips as I try to control my emotions. "Touko said that the goods will always win. I believe that... can't you believe that too! After giving me hope. You're just going to leave?!" I yelled at him.

"Forgive me..." he said in a low tone. He lift his hand as he gently cup my cheek. He place his forehead against mine. "I'm not strong... I'm sorry that I can't fight, L/N. My soccer ends here. But my love for you will always remain" he said, giving me a small smile. My eyes widen as I stare at him in disbelief, realizing he won't change his mind. He smiles sadly at me as he gently presses his lips against my forehead.

"Take care of her, Endou..." he said, after pulling away from me. He turned to look at me and gently caress my cheek with his thumb. "I love you, Y/N..." he said, this time using my first name. He grab my hands, gently removing them from his. I watch as he turns around and walks away. This time he didn't look back.

"I can't believe he left..." I said. I turn my head to look at Endou who only lowers his gaze. I shut my eyes as tears starts to roll down my cheeks.

We're gathering inside the Caravan. Endou is holding a note in his hands. My eyes widen in disbelief when he reads what's written on it. Kuritmatsu also left the team. He also had enough with what's been happening with the Aliea Academy.

Everyone walks out of the caravan. I clenched my hands. I lift my head. "We can't just leave it like this. Come on, guys. Let's train more! We'll show both Kazemaru and Kurimatsu than we can still get stronger! If they see that. I'm sure they'd come back" I said. They turn to look at each other and nods their heads. I smile softly at them. We walk towards the field. I stop walking and turn to look at Endou when he only stands.

"Endou?" I called out. I pick up a ball. I walk towards him and offer the ball to him. "Come on, Endou. This team needs its captain... this team needs you" I said. He lift his head to look at the ball. He lift his hand, making me smile when he finally gave me a reaction. But he just placed his hand on the ball, pushing it towards me.

"I'm sorry... but I can't face soccer like this..." he said. My eyes widen as I stare at him in shock. He lowers his gaze. "Go on and train without me..." he said. He walks past me. My grip on the ball loosen as I drop it. I turn my body to look at Endou who keeps walking without looking back. What's happening to Raimon?
