The rest of us just let out a nervous laugh at the sight. Well, I didn't expect Fubuki to be so popular with girls. But well, with his gentle nature. It shouldn't be a surprise. A flash of image of Fubuki's change of character appears in my head.

What is his deal?

We start to try to look for the Soccer Club room. Which is around the corner. I walk further back from the others. I notice something on the sodden floor. My eyes widen at the sight.

"Endou, stop!! There's-" I tried to warn him, but he had already stepped on it. As a result, Endou slips, making the ones behind him collides into them. I let out a sigh as I place my hand on my forehead, shaking it lightly. "A wax on the floor..." I said.

"Wow... how can you notice something like that?" Endou said, once everyone manages to stands up. I shrug my shoulders. He rub his head in pain, which takes the most impact when he fell over.

"Are you okay?" I asked, worriedly. He turn to look at me and nod his head. Unfortunately, Megane isn't so lucky. He said he heard his feet making a crunching sound. Which turns out, he had sprained his ankle. That aside, I wonder who would do such thing.

I hear a laugh. I turn my head to see a boy with spiky blue hair. "Don't be so arrogant just cause you won the Football Frontier" he said. His comment ticked off Touko who tried to chase after him, only to fall into a pit trap.

The boy starts mocking her which makes her angrier. But before anything else could happen, a voice can be heard. The boy instantly ran off. What I do know is that the boy's name is Kogure. According to the man, he has a hard time trusting people after getting abandoned by his own mother. It makes sense for him to have a hard time to trust when his own mother betrayed him. I feel bad for the poor guy.

We head to the Soccer Club room to meet the players. They have a calm demeanor surrounding them. Endou tries to talk to them. But no matter what he said, they're not interested in trying to fight the Aliea Academy. To them, Soccer is to strengthen the mind and body. They refuse to use it for violence.

"No use trying to convince them otherwise, Endou" I said, once we left the Soccer Clubroom. I turn my head to look at the club room. "They seem quite adamant in not going against the Aliea Academy. I'm worried... we all know how Aliea Academy acted. If they refused their challenge, the Aliea Academy will destroy this school" I said, crossing my arms across my chest with a frown on my face. He crossed his arms. I let out a sigh as I gently a my hand through my hair.

"We can't just stay quiet. We have got to do something about this. We can't let Aliea Academy keep doing things as they pleased..." I said. Everyone nods their heads in agreement. But what can we do, when the students of this school refuses to fight for themselves.

It's now nighttime. But I couldn't fall asleep. Everyone else is asleep. Well, except for Otonashi. She went off with her brother. While, I just decide to sit under a tree to enjoy the night breeze and the view of the twinkling stars in the night sky.

"Hey. You're not asleep?" A voice said. I turn my head to see it's Kazemaru. I smile softly at him. I lightly shake my head, letting him know I couldn't sleep. He takes a seat next to me. "Why? What's on your mind?" He asked.

"A lot..." I said, turning my head to look at the night sky. I hug my knees close to my chest. "A lot of things, to the point I couldn't comprehend what to think. And it's making me... dizzy. But most of all, the nagging feeling of regrets. Why did I agree to help out those cruel aliens? Why am I so stupid? All I wanted was to be able to play soccer again. That I didn't even think clear. Which makes me believe that I don't belong here..." I said.

"THAT'S NOT TRUE!" Kazemaru exclaimed, making me jump at his sudden raise of tone. I turn to look at him wide-eyed, shocked by his outburst. His cheeks turns red when he realizes what he just did. "E-Er... sorry, L/N. I didn't mean to burst out on you like that" he said, awkwardly.

"But I really meant what I said. What you just said is not true. You're just a victim. They took advantages of you when you were at your lowest. But look at you now... you don't need their help anymore. You're free, L/N... and you're one of us. You're an official member of the Raimon Eleven" he said.

A soft smile eventually forms on my face. "Thank you, Kazemaru..." I said. I turn my head to look at the night sky once again. Silence engulfs the two of us.

"By the way..." Kazemaru said. I turn my head to look at him. "Can you tell me what you were like before? You know... you said you were a captain" he said. I blink my eyes at what he said.

"Well... I was once a captain of a soccer team, T/N" I said. I notice Kazemaru's eyes wide in shock. I raise an eyebrow "What's with that reaction?" I asked.

"D-Did you j-just say... T-T/N?" He said. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and nod my head. "I've heard about your team. From what I heard the captain of the team is so strong. If they had participated in Football Frontier, they'd win without a doubt. Are you saying that you are the captain??" He said. I nod my head to let him know he's right. He let out a gasp as his eyes widen even more. "So... the person with the nickname the Goddess of the Field... i-is y-y-you?" He stuttered out.

"Ah. So you've heard about that, huh?" I said. I smile softly and nod my head. "But yeah. That's me..." I said. I let out a sigh as I turn to look at the sky. I smile softly to myself as I recall my old teammates. "Me and my old team are much like you guys... we never gave up and keep going until we secure victory. I never let anyone lose hope. If they have a hard time, I'll always remind them why we play soccer in the first place" I said. I turn to look at Kazemaru, and smiles softly.

"You sound like an amazing captain..." he said. I turn to look at him and smiles softly. "I'm so glad that I'm able to meet someone like you, L/N" he said.

"Me too... I'm thankful to all of you. Thanks to you guys for re-opening my eyes, and helped me remember why I chose to play soccer... how fun soccer truly is. All of you gave me the courage and strength to choose what's right and here I am. I'm a member of Raimon Eleven. And I'm so proud of it" I said. I give him a close-eyed smile.

I lift my hands in the air and yawn softly. I turn to look at Kazemaru. I scoot closer to his side, placing my head on his shoulder. I feel him tensing up at my action. But he relaxes soon after.

I close my eyes as I snuggle to his side. "Sorry about this... but I'm a little cold. I remember the day you all huddled around me to keep me warm after you found me laying on the snow. So I hope you don't mind this, Kazemaru?" I said.

"I don't mind. G-Go a-ahead..." he stuttered out. I just smile softly to myself. I close my eyes, finally feeling tired. His presence next to me brought me comfort. So, finally, I can feel myself off to sleep.

Kazemaru P.O.V

L/N has fallen asleep. This is the second time she fell asleep on my shoulder. I turn my head to look at her. Her hair falls to cover her face. I lift my hand as I gently brush it away from her face. Well, there it is again... this feelings every time L/N is near me. I wasn't sure what I felt before, but now I do...

I'm in love with L/N...
