One of the player is wearing a pair of headphones on his head. He nods his head accordingly, probably feeling the beat. I notice he also makes a sound as if he's counting the beat. He seems like an interesting guy. This friendly match would probably be a fun and interesting one.
-Control The Flow-
Y/N P.O.V
We're all now gathered in the field. I stand next to Fubuki as we'll be playing as forward. The whistle is blown and I lightly kick the ball towards Fubuki. The two of us quickly rush towards the opponent's goal.
I dodge their player as they try to steal the ball from me. I pass the ball towards Kidou who swiftly gets the ball in his possession. The two of us continues to advance to the opponent's goal. Kidou passes the ball to me, wanting me to be the one to shoot.
I jump and did a flip. "Burning Screech!!" I yelled out. A shrilling sound can be heard, only for the goalkeeper as the ball advances towards him. He ended up covering his ears with his hands, making him unable to stop the shoot. I grin as I turn to Kidou who lift his hand. I gently give him a high-five.
"That was an awesome shoot. But why did he have to cover his ears?" He said, turning to look at the opponent goalkeeper. I explain to him shortly. He blinks his eyes as he stares at me in surprise. "Wow... you've been hiding a hissatsu like that?" He said.
"Well, I couldn't use it before because of my condition. I feel like I'm getting stronger everyday" I said. He smiles at what I said. He place his hand on my head, ruffling my hair gently. "Hey!" I protested, swatting his hand. He just laughs at my reaction. I huffed and crossed my arms across my chest.
"You should know better than to ruffle a girl's hair, Kidou-San. Some girls would sometimes consider it rude" Kogure said, walking over to us. Kidou starts panicking at what he said. He turn to look at me and starts to apologize. I feel a drop of sweat running down the side of my head.
"Eh... you're exaggerating that, Kogure..." I said, giving him an unamused look. Kogure let out a laugh, while Kidou sighs after realizing he had just been pranked. I let out a soft giggle as Kogure is being mischievous once again. Well, I mean, this is Kogure. He's always been a huge prankster.
"Since when are you and Kogure seem to hit it off?" He asked. I just shrug my shoulders. He let out a sigh and went back to his position. I do the same which is next to him.
The whistle is blown as the game resume. But this time, something feels strange. Each time the boy with a pair of headphones which now I know is known as Otomura starts shouting words, they managed to steal a ball from us. No matter how hard we try to get the ball back, as soon as he intercepts, they'd have the ball back in their possession.
They managed to earn a point. The whistle is blown, which means the first half has ended. I walk towards Kidou who seems to observe the opponent, trying to think of a way to counterattack. I turn my head to look at them as well.
"Those numbers he said before their team starts to attack... they can't be just random commands, could they?" I said, as I stand next to Kidou. Just as I said that, Otomura runs past us. I hear the beat he's muttering over and over. My eyes widen when I realize what he's doing. "No... he can't be" I said. I turn to look at Kidou who seems to realize it as well.
We head back to where everyone is gathering. Kidou starts explaining what's going on. In which everyone was shocked to hear. Some even said that it wouldn't be possible to predict just by counting the beats.
"But that guy can..." I said, turning my head to look at Otomura. "He's been counting the beats and predicting our movements. The only way to counterattack is we've got to change our rhythm. Slow down our steps by two counts" I said. Kidou nods his head, agreeing with me.
"As she said... we'll do that while we try to figure out a way to beat them" he said. He turns to look at me and smiles softly. "Good job figuring out a way... you may be able to be a playmaker like me" he said. I just let out a laugh at what he said.
The second half starts. This time they requested that I stay benched. They said they're worried because I'm not fully recovered. Despite assuring them I'm okay. They still wouldn't listen, and requested that I'm benched. In which Coach Hitomiko agrees. So I stayed benched as they resume the game.
I watch as Kidou gives them instructions. For a while, they managed to counterattack. But the opponent is quick to turn the course around once again. I click my tongue as I'm put on edged, watching as my friends seem to struggle to figure out how to change the flow of the game.
Kidou seems to get a grasp of the game as he starts to instruct the others. I jump on my feet when they succeed in getting a score. It happens again not long after, and the whistle is blown. Raimon wins!!
"Awesome job, everyone!!" I yelled out, cupping my mouth. They turn to look at me and grins. I rush over, pulling the closest two into a hug. Which happens to be Kidou and Endou. The others let out a protest as they gather around me, hugging me too. I let out a laugh at their action.
"I knew you guys could do it..." I said, smiling at them after we pull away. They smile brightly at me. I notice the redness on their cheeks. "Our teamwork has grown so much, huh? Let's not stop here... let's get stronger!!" I said, throwing my fist in the air. They do the same while yelling out 'yeah!'.

The coach decided to throw us a barbecue party. The food is really tasty! I've always loved barbecue. I used to have it with my parents when I was little. It makes me miss my dad. If only he was still alive. I wonder if he would be proud of me now.
"Hey, are you okay?" Someone asked. I turn my head to see Tsunami. I stare at him in confusion. He lift his hand, cupping my cheek as he wipe the tears from my eyes. "You were crying..." he said, staring at me worriedly.
"Ah... I didn't even realize that. But I'm okay..." I said. He didn't look convinced at all. I let out a soft sigh. "I'm okay, really. I just... remembered my dad. I used to have Barbeque with him" I said.
"Oh, I'm sure you'd be able to have some again when the whole battle with Aliea Academy thing ended..." he said. My eyes sadden at what he said. He realize there's a change in my mood.
"If only that was possible..." I said. I turn my head to look at the night sky. "But unfortunately, it's never going to happen. My father is up there... looking down at me from heaven" I said.
"E-Eh... I'm so sorry. I-I d-didn't realize your f-father is... w-well..." he stammered. I turn to look at him and smiles, assuring him that it's all right. He let out a sigh as he places a hand on my shoulder, comfortingly. He excuse himself and walks off. I smile softly as I watch him walks away. I turn my head to look at the sky once again. Father...
Are you proud of me?
