Chapter 21

Previously on Chapter 20

"Sorry that I keep on worrying everyone..." I said. I feel bad for making them worry about me all the time. I wish I could have been stronger. If I was stronger, none of this would have happened. I'll train harder. I'll be stronger.

-Something Strange-

Y/N P.O.V

I notice something strange about my body. Normally, after getting injured I would need about a month to fully recover. But, after a week of resting in the hospital bed, I seem to be in perfect health. Even the doctor and nurses are shocked at the discovery.

I stand up from the bed and stretch my body just to make sure. I feel no pain whatsoever on my body. I hum softly as I place my hands on my hips, looking down at myself.

"That's so weird..." I mumbled softly to myself. My body also feels a lot more energized. I have no idea what's going on with myself. But I'm glad nonetheless. Which means I can still go along with the others.

The door slowly opens. I turn my head to see Endou and the others. "Are you sure you're fit enough to be going around?" He asked, frowning when he notices that I'm standing and not lying down. I smile softly at him and walks up to him. I place my hands on his shoulders.

"I'm fine, captain. My whole body has recovered. I'm all better now" I said, smiling softly at him. He stares at me with a look of doubt. I let out a soft sigh. I do a few back flips.

I hear them letting out a yell that I shouldn't be doing this. "Ahhh!! That's dangerous, L/N!" Kabeyama yelled out. I do one last flip and land on my right hand while facing them.

"See?" I said, grinning at them. I move to place my feet on the ground. I grin at them as I place my hands on my hips. "All better!" I said, closing my eyes with a bright smile on my face.

"Are you sure??" Kazemaru said, as he walks up to me. I lean back a little as he stares at my face. He's probably trying to see if I'm trying to hide any sign of pain. I just smile and gently pat his cheek.

"I'm okay..." I said, smiling softly at him. His cheeks turns a few shade darker of red. "Are you okay? I think you're down with a fever" I asked, tilting my head. I lift my hand, placing my palm against his forehead. "You do feel a little warm..." I said.

"I-I-I'm o-okay..." he stuttered out. He gently grab my hand, slowly moving it away from his cheek. I stare at him for a few seconds before nodding my head. Yep... he seems fine.

"L/N..." someone said. I turn my head to see our coach. I turn my body to face him. "Do you think you're in any condition to be continuing your journey with the rest of the Inazuma Caravan?" She said.

"Yes, coach Hitomiko. Of course..." I said, nodding my head. She nods her head in satisfaction to my response. I turn my head to look at the others. "I assure you guys! I'm fine!" I said, after noticing the worried look on their faces. They turn to look at each other. They let out a soft sigh, knowing they can't convince me to stay out of the fight against the Aliea Academy.

"Very well... if you're sure. Then I'll take care of the medical bills" Coach Hitomiko said. She turns to look at the three managers. "You three... help L/N prepares herself. So we can continue our journey" she said. The girls nod their heads in agreement. She turns around and walks out of the hospital room.

"All right... let's get you to change to your Raimon uniform" Natsumi said. I just nod my head. I turn my head to look at the boys. She seems to remember them too. "What are you boys doing here? Get out!!" She said. They flinched and blushes. They quickly rushes out of the hospital room. I shake my head as I let out a giggle.

We're back inside the Inazuma Caravan. I sit in between Fubuki and Endou. "I'm glad that I don't have to stay out. I want to help out as best I can to defeat the Aliea Academy" I said, smiling at both Fubuki and Endou. They smile softly at me. I yawn softly as I starts to feel sleepy. My head keeps falling forward. I feel a gentle hand on the side of my head, gently guiding my head to a much comfortable spot.

Endou P.O.V

I notice L/N's head falling forward. It's obvious that she is sleepy. I lift my hand. But before I could do anything. Another hand has catches her head before it falls. I turn my head to see Fubuki.

He gently guides L/N's head to his shoulder. I frown at his action as he just stares at L/N's sleeping face. That should've been me. L/N should have been resting her head on my shoulder. I let out a sigh and turn my head to look out the window.

I know we all agreed that we should hide our feelings. But it's starting to get so hard for me to keep it in. I just want to tell L/N already. I want her to know how much I have fallen for her. But what can I do?

As much as I want L/N to know about my feelings for her. At the same time, I don't want to ruin my friendship with the others either. I let out a sigh and lightly bang my head against the window. Why did everyone have to fall for L/N? Why can't it just be me? So I can express the feelings I have for her freely.

I hear a whimper and turn my head to see L/N. I stare at her worriedly as her face contort slightly, showing some signs of discomfort. Everyone turn their heads to look at her. The ones sitting behind us stands up to take a look at L/N.

"She's having a nightmare. You have to wake her up, Endou... Fubuki" Kidou said. I turn to look at L/N and gently place my hand on her shoulder as I lightly shake her. She shot up with a gasp. She starts breathing quite heavily as she stares forward.

"Hey... are you okay?" I asked. She turn her head to look at me. She blinks her eyes a few times before she smiles softly at me. "What were you dreaming about?" I asked.

"Yeah... I'm fine, Endou. Thank you for waking me up" she said. She places her hand on her chin as she seems to be thinking. "I don't remember what I dreamt about. But I do know it was not pleasant at all..." I said. I hesitate for a bit. But eventually decided to do it. I gently wrap my arms around her.

"Don't worry. No matter what happened... I'm here for you" I said. I notice the others giving me a look. I clear my throat. I pull away from L/N and gently places my hands on her shoulders. "We are here for you..." I said. The others nod their heads.

L/N turn to look at them as they smile at her. She smiles softly at all of us. I feel the sense of warmth spreading in my heart. She has become someone precious to me. A frown starts to form on my lips, remembering that Kageyama is after her. Not only him... the Aliea too. But no matter what happened...
