Chapter 24

Previously on Chapter 23

"We do too!" The others yelled out. I stare at them with a look of disbelief. I was trying to leave this team, and all of the sudden... these boys told me they love me. What did I get myself into?

Y/N P.O.V

"No... this is a joke, right?" I said, staring at them with a look of disbelief. They stare at me with a serious face. I stare at them in shock, realizing they were serious. "A-All of y-you?" I said, turning my head to look at each of them.

"Yeah, L/N. It's true" Fubuki said. He walks up to me, gently placing his hands on my shoulders. "So please... don't leave us" he said, staring at me with a pleading gaze.

"I-I..." I stuttered out. I lower my gaze, allowing my hair to cover my face. I shut my eyes tightly as my body starts to shake. Tears starts rolling down my cheeks. "I can't stay..." I said.

"But why, L/N? Why are you so adamant to leave us? Why now?? After all the joy and hardship we've been through together..." Kidou asked, placing his hands on my shoulders as he starts to shake me lightly. "Can't you at least clear that up?" He said.

"I can't stay because my mother would be in danger!!" I yelled out, startling everyone. More tears starts to fall from my eyes. "Desarm came to me. Destroy all of you or the person I love will pay the price! I don't want my mother to get hurt. She's the only family I have left. I don't wanna lose her. But I don't want to hurt any of you! So the best choice for me is to leave..." I said.

"But can't you see you're hurting us by leaving?" Endou said. He holds my hand in both of his. "We'll figure something out. We'll let the government know, so they'd place your mother somewhere safe. Just stay with us, L/N. Everything will be okay... your mother will be okay" he said.

"How can you be so sure?" I muttered, lowering my gaze as I stare at the ground. Endou stays silent after that. He obviously isn't sure with what he said. "HOW CAN YOU BE SO SURE, ENDOU?! You don't know how far those aliens would go in order to get things to go the way they wanted to" I said.

"Because the bad things never win" Touko said. I turn my head to look at her. "And plus, I've contacted my father. He already sent people to your house to guard your mom. She'll be okay, L/N..." she said. She places her hands on my shoulders. She smiles reassuringly at me. "So you don't have to leave anymore..." she said. I open my mouth to talk when a ring cuts me off. The sound is coming from my phone. I take it out from my pocket and answers it.

"Mom?" I said. I hear her voice on the other side of the line. I let out a sigh of relief when she sounded okay. "I am so happy to know you're all right, mom... I was so scared" I said. Tears starts falling from my eyes.

The government came to me... they moved me somewhere else that is safer. The aliens can't get to me here, honey she said. I feel relieved to hear what she said. I'm so glad to hear that. I am glad to know you have chosen the right path, Y/N. You've decided to stop aiding them, right? Together with the rest of Raimon... I'm sure you'd be able to defeat the Aliea Academy she said.

"Yes, mom... please stay safe, okay? Don't go anywhere alone" I said. She tells me she won't go anywhere alone, making me feel even more relieved. I hung up the phone and turn to look at everyone. "I guess that means I'll be staying..." I said. A huge grin starts to form on each of their faces.

"Yay!!!" They cheered happily. They gathered around me, pulling me into a group hug. I just smile softly to myself. I'm happy to meet these people. They cares so much about me.

"Thank you, everyone..." I said, smiling softly as I let myself relax in their embrace. A frown starts to form on my lips as I recall what they told me a while ago. Every single one of them falls in love with me? Aside from Ichinose since Rika already claimed him to be hers. But the rest of them are in love with me.

"And I'm sorry. But I needed time to process everything. I never would have expected to have all of you having feelings for me... I don't know how to react" I said. I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn my head to see Domon.

He smiles reassuringly at me. "You don't have to worry about us. We're just thankful that you're staying with us, L/N" he said. I just blink my eyes at what he said. The others let out a sound of agreements. I just smile softly at them.

I'm glad they're willing to give me some time to sort out my feelings. I don't know what I feel about them. I don't know if I feel the same with any of them. It's gonna take some time for me to sort out what I feel. I'm glad they're willing to wait for me.

It's midnight and everyone decided it's time to go to sleep. But I couldn't sleep. I decide to train a little. I need to blow off some steam. Maybe then, I'd be able to sleep.

I jump and kick the ball towards the goal. I land on the ground as I pant heavily. "I wish I'm back to my original strength. Something is missing... but I don't know what is" I said. I let out a frustrated groan as I kick the ball to a random direction. 

"You look stressed..." someone said. I blink my eyes at the sound. turn my head to see it's Kazemaru. He stare at me with a concern gaze. I let out a sigh as I sit down. He walks over to me and sit down next to me. "Do you wanna talk about it?" He asked.

"No... not this time. This is something I have to sort out on my own" I said. He hums softly and nod his head, as he decide to respect my choice. I smile softly at him. "I have never got a chance to thank you, Kazemaru" I said. He turned to look at me with a confused gaze. I smile at him. "Thank you for keeping me company when I can't sleep the other day. Your presence helped... a lot" I said. He blushes deep shade of red at what I said.

"Does that means... I have a chance to win your heart?" He asked. I blink my eyes at what he said. I let out a soft sigh and look away. "Sorry. I know you need more time before you get to decide that. But I just want you to know this, L/N. Whoever you choose in the end. I'll always support you. No matter what the outcome would be. Even if the one you choose isn't me" he said. I just smile softly at what he said.

I still find it hard to believe that every boys in Inazuma Caravan are falling in love with me. I don't know how to react to this situation. All of these is making me feel... conflicted.
