Gouenji Shuuya's Ending

We starts celebrating our victory. Finally, after such a long battle. We managed to win against Aliea Academy. I let out a laugh as they throw Endou in the air. He looks a little startled by their reaction.

I sit under the tree while everyone plays soccer. I smile softly at the sight. I let out a sigh and slowly turn my head to look at the sky. Now I know why I was feeling so attached with the sky. It's all because that was where I came from. I still find it hard to believe that I'm not a human.

"Hey..." a voice said, making me jump. I turn my head to see it's Gouenji. He walks up to me with his hands inside his pocket. "How are you holding up? I know it must've been a shock for you" he said.

"Yeah... I still find it hard to accept the fact that I'm not a human" I said. I lift my hand, gently running it through my hair. I turn my head to look at the sky. "I understand now why the I feel fond about the outer space, because I came from there. I'm kind of curious to know where I truly came from..." I said.

He takes a seat next to me. "That's what you said that night, the day I returned to Inazuma Eleven" he said. I smile softly at him. I feel a hand gently slipping in mine. I look down to see it's Gouenji's hand. "And I also said, that I won't give up... I'll keep trying until I'm sure that I'd be able to win your heart" he said. I blink my eyes at what he said.

"Well... you already did" I said. His eyes widen at what I said. I lean my face closer to his, until it's only a few millimeters apart. "You're the winner, Shuuya..." I said, smiling softly at him as I call him with his first name.

"I... I-I am?" He said. He looks like he didn't believe my words. I smile brightly at him, nodding my head. A soft smile starts to form on his face. He pulls me into a hug. I yelped at his sudden move. "I'm so happy to hear that, Y/N..." he said. My heart flutters when he calls me by my name.

He pulls away to look at me. "So, will you be mine?" He asked, gently holding my hands in both of his. His eyes held hope in them as he stares at me expectantly. I smile softly at him and nod my head. A grin starts to form on his lips.

I notice his face coming closer towards mine. I smile softly, knowing what he's trying to do. I close my eyes, and soon enough, I feel a gentle pressure against my lips. I tilt my head slightly as I deepen the kiss. His arms go around my waist, pulling me closer. I smile into the kiss as I wrap my arms around his neck.

We pull away since we need to breathe. Shuuya leans his forehead against mine. He smiles softly at me as he lift his hand, gently cupping my cheek. His touch feels so soft as if he's being extra cautious. He treats me as if I'm made of the most fragile porcelain doll. It didn't make me think he finds me weak. But rather it makes me feel special, knowing how much he cares about me.

"Thank you so much, Y/N... for accepting my love" he said. I smile softly and gently peck his nose. His cheeks turns a light shade of pink from my action, making me let out a soft giggle.

"It's getting quiet, don't you think?" I said, finally taking a notice of how silent it has become. Shuuya nods his head at what I said. I my eyebrows and turn my head to see everyone had stopped their game as they stare at the two of us. I bit my lips when I notice the look of sadness in the boys' eyes. "You all saw that... didn't you?" I said. They just nods their heads lightly. I turn my head to look Shuuya who just stays silent.

"I'm sorry, guys... it's just. I had always been Shuuya. I know we've only been together for a short time and he went off somewhere. But, something about him is just... feels special to me" I said. I smile apologetically at them as they continue to stare at me with a sad gaze.

Kidou is the first one who got over it. He walks forward, until he stands in front of me. He lift his hands, placing them on my shoulders. I just stare at him, wondering what he have to say.

"Will you be happy with Gouenji, L/N?" He asked. I blink my eyes at his question. I turn my head to look at Shuuya who stays silent as if he's waiting for me to give an answer to Kidou's question. I smile softly at him and turn to look at Kidou, who's waiting for my answer.

"I will... because he's all I've ever wanted" I said. He smiles sadly at what I said. "I'm sorry, Kidou. I'm so sorry to all of you as well. Sorry I couldn't return all of your feelings" I said. A soft smile eventually starts to form on each of their faces. They start assuring me that it would be all right. That they'd be happy for me and Shuuya. Which makes me feel so glad that they had chose to accept and respect my choice.

After a while, one by one they start to leave the field. Until it's just me and Shuuya. I let out a sigh as I close my eyes. I lift my hand, gently running it through my hair.

"I feel so bad for hurting everyone's feelings, Shuuya" I said. I slowly open my eyes and turn to look at him. "I still don't understand why. Why do all of them falls for me? Especially now that I found out I'm not even a human. Doesn't it disgust you? To know that the girl you're love in love with is not a human" I said.

"No, Y/N. Of course not" he said. He walks closer to me. He lift his hands, gently cupping my cheeks. "I love you for who you are. I don't fall in love with you because of what you are. So what if you're an alien? You're still you... and I love you, Y/N. No matter what... I will always love you" he said.

"Thank you, Shuuya" I said. I lean my forehead against his. His hands gently caress my cheeks as I close my eyes. "I love you too. Thank you for loving a freak like me" I said.

"You can be the freakiest girl alive... and I would still love you the same" he said. My heart flutters at how genuine he sounds. A soft smile starts to form on my lips, thinking how lucky I am. He smiles softly at me. He leans down, gently placing a soft kiss against my lips. I tilt my head slightly as I kisses him back. Thank you, universe... for bringing someone as amazing as Shuuya into my life.
