Chapter 48

It's a big change in the way we play soccer so far. But if it's what's it'll take in order to defeat the Aliea Academy, then it's worth the shot. Endou as a Libero, huh? This should be interesting.

-A Huge Change-

Y/N P.O.V

Endou changes his clothes into a player's clothes. While Tachimukai wears the goalkeeper clothes. I kick the ball to Endou, in which he tries to stop it with his hands. I let out sigh and gently flick his forehead.

"You're not a keeper anymore, Endou. You shouldn't be using your hand, dummy" I said. He let out a nervous laugh. I let out a sigh and shakes my head. "But can't blame you for that, huh? You've been a goalkeeper since you started playing with Raimon..." I said.

"Yeah..." he said, nodding his head. I gently pat his shoulder. I turn my head to the side to see a couple of tires. I remember Endou told me he used to train with a tire. "You seem to have a plan brewing in your mind..." Endou said. I turn to look at him and grins.

I walk towards Kidou. I whisper something to his ear. A smile starts to form on his face. I turn to look at Endou who seems nervous.

A While Later

"How did it come to this?" Endou said. His upper body is covered with 2 tires, preventing him from moving his hands. I let out a giggle, covering my mouth as I stare at him with an amused gaze.

"L/N's idea is actually quite good, Endou. This way, it will make it hard for you to use your hands. So you're gonna need to focus on using your feet to kick the ball. We'll go with this" Kidou said, as he stands next to me.

"Fine..." Endou said, letting out a sigh. I snorted at his reaction. He turned to look at me and pouted. His pout only makes me giggle more. He closes his eyes as he let out another sigh.

We start to train. I kick the ball to Endou. But he loses his balance. I wince when he falls forward. "Are you okay?" I asked. He nod his head. Kidou and I help him up. "Can you keep going?" I asked.

"Of course!! I will do whatever it'll take to win against the Aliea Academy. It's clear now that those aliens are after you, L/N. I'll train harder to get stronger! So I'll be able to keep you safe!" He said, with determination in his eyes.

"Endou... thank you..." I said, smiling softly at him. He blushes a deep shade of red. I lift my hand and gently ruffle his hair. We start to train once again. Which he seems to struggle, but slowly get the hands of it.

He finally gets the hang of it, earning a new hissatsu. In which, Megane named it Megaton Head. "You did it, Endou!!" I cheered happily. I rush towards him and help him get the tires off of him. "I know you could..." I said. I gently wrap my arms around him. I feel him tensing up a little before returning my embrace.

"Now that we manage to get that under control. I've got another thing for you, Endou. But to do that, we've got to go somewhere" Kidou said. We turn our heads to look at him.

This somewhere Kidou's talking about turns out to be Teikoku Academy. "Standing here doesn't exactly bring back good memories..." Kabeyama said. He realizes what he just said. "Kidou! I-I m-mean..." he stuttered out. But Kidou just brushes him off.

Everyone in Kidou's old team are here. Which included Genda and Sakuma. Both of them seem to be doing quite well. Sakuma however, he needs to walk with crutches.

The sight of him reminds me of what happened a while back. He used a forbidden hissatsu which resulted in his body failing on him. I'm glad that he's able to be on his feet again.

"So... what exactly are we doing here, Kidou?" I asked, as I move to stand next to him. He turned to look at me and grins. Turns out, Kidou wants them to learn a move he had created with Teikoku. A move called Death Zone.

That move requires three people. Which will be Kidou, Endou and Domon. Kidou first try to get them to get the spinning right. Which proves to be quite a task since the time they stopped ended up facing three different ways. Neither of them is giving up, which makes me believe they'd get it under control.

While everyone is practicing, Fubuki just stays seated on the bench. Aphrodi seems to notice that he didn't join us, and walks up to us. "Why isn't he practicing?" He asked while staring at Fubuki. I froze at his question and turn my head to look at the others. In the end, we decided to tell him what happened to Fubuki, along with how he ended up with a split personality.

"He chose to stay with us... we wanted to find a way to help him recover" I said. Aphrodi nods his head at what I said. I smile softly at him. "I hope you'd be able to help as well, Aphrodi..." I said.

"I will..." he said, nodding his head while smiling at me. I turn my head to look at the others as they seem to be having a discussion on how to get Endou, and Domon master the technique. In the end, we decide to compete against Teikoku team.

To our surprise, Endou and Domon are on Teikoku's side. Kidou explains it's needed to help them get the feeling. Since Death Zone is a move created by him while he's in Teikoku Academy. He believes that by being on their side, Domon and Endou will get the feel right. So the rest of us decide to just go along with it.

As the match starts, Kidou, Endou and Domon keeps on trying to attempt on using Death Zone. But they failed each time. "Don't give up! I'm sure you'd get the hang of it in due time!" I said, trying to encourage the three of them. Which seems to work as they look determined.

After a few failed attempts, they seem to succeed. The rest of us cheered as they successfully re-created the move. They named it Death Zone 2. A slightly altered version of the original.

I rushed to the three of them, throwing my arms around them. "You three did it! I know you can!!" I said. I pull away to look at them. "I'm so proud of you guys..." I said. From the corner of my eyes, I notice Aphrodi staring up at the sky. I follow his line of gaze to see a black soccer ball. This seems different bang the others, as it had three colors. Black, blue and red.

A light shines through and two figure appears. My eyes widen when I realize it's Gazel and Burn. "We're Chaos" they said together, staring at all of us. I notice their eyes turning to focus on me for a brief moment, making me freezes up. I've a bad feelings about this.

"Prominence of the lofty flames and diamond dust, of the endless have combined to become the strongest team. Accept our challenge! We'll prove who is the best in the universe!" They said simultaneously. I can't believe this. These two team fused into one? What on earth is going on??
