Chapter 53

Previously on Chapter 52

I lower my head, as tears starts to roll down my cheeks. I feel my knees weakens as I fall on them. I choke out a sob as I feel my chest tighten. I grit my teeth, as I clench my hands on the grass beneath me. I can't believe I let myself get taken over. I can't believe I let myself be so weak.

-The Real Me-

Y/N P.O.V

The memories of me and Fubuki was the dropping point that had made me felt so lost. That I couldn't take it what's been occurring any longer, which leads to the point where I told everyone the truth. Along with the moment where everyone accepted me despite of what I did to them.

"Y/N!!" Someone yelled out and footsteps rushing up to me. I feel hands on my shoulders. I open my eyes to see Gran. "Are you okay? What happened? Are you hurting somewhere?" He asked, frantically.

"Yeah... I'm okay" I said. I slowly move to stand up. I turn to look at Fubuki and the others. I can feel myself losing consciousness. I've no idea what's going on.

3rd P.O.V

Y/N's eyes slowly turns dark again, as she loses her consciousness once again. 'For a short moment... she's back to her old self' Fubuki thought to himself, as he quietly watch Y/N as she reclaims her spot next to Gran. 'There is hope...' he thought, as he feels hopeful.

The game continues as Raimon have gained confident. He can feel everyone's feelings in the ball. All of their wishes to win and to put an end to the whole mess. But above all, it's their desire to bring Y/N back to her old self. Fubuki, Gouenji and Endou make their way to the opponent's goal.

"The Earth!!" They exclaimed together as they kick the ball simultaneously. The ball easily move past the four of Genesis players. Gran and Yagami rushes to protect the goal. But the two of them failed. Y/N rises to stand in front of the goal to protect it.

Y/N P.O.V

"Be back to who you are, L/N! Please... COME BACK TO US!!" All of Raimon yelled out, as I try to stop the ball. I feel something in my heart as my feet come in contact with the ball. Flashes of images starts flashing in my mind one after another.

Vision 1

"Oh, my name is L/N Y/N! Nice to meet you" I said, smiling at them. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion when their cheeks turns red. "Are you guys okay?" I asked.

Vision 2

"L/N?" I hear Gouenji called out. I turn my head to look at him. I hum softly to let him know I'm paying attention him. "How long have you been playing soccer for?" He asked.

I feel the others gaze on me. I glance at them to see them staring at me, probably also curious. "How long... well, for... as long as I can remember" I said. They blinks their eyes as they stare at me. I give them a close-eyed smile and turn my head away from them to continue watching the buildings passing by. I can't tell them specifically. It would be exposing myself on a few things.

Vision 3

"Ah, she's awake" someone said. I recognize the voice to be Kazemaru's. I turn my head slightly to look at him. He stares at me with a worried gaze. "Are you okay, L/N? Why'd you sleep on the snow?" He asked, staring at me with a worried gaze. Not just him, everyone is giving me the same look. I just lower my gaze as I grit my teeth. I feel my tears starts to roll down my cheeks.

Vision 4

Ichinose walks up to me. I flinch as he kneels in front of me, thinking he'd hit me. I just stare at him. A soft smile starts to form on his lips. He lift his hand, gently placing it on my shoulder.

"I'm not going to lie. What you said did hurt. To learn the truth of your identity as a spy. But after hearing your reason... I kinda understand your position. Neither of us would've been able to imagine how painful it would be if we have to stop playing soccer" he said. He turns to look at the others who smiles softly at me. I just stare at them.

Vision 5

"Because... because I love you!" He exclaimed. My eyes widen at what he said. The other's eyes widen as well. He turn to look at the others. "Sorry, guys. I broke our deal" he said. I stare at him in confusion.

"What are you talking about?" I said. Kazemaru let out a sigh as he steps forward, taking my free hand as Endou moves his hand down to hold my hand. "What's going on?" I asked.

"We didn't want you to find out this way..." Kidou said as he walks forward to stand in front of me. I just stare at him with a confused gaze. "Endou isn't the only one, L/N. I do too... I'm in love with you" he said. I stare at him in disbelief.

"We do too!" The others yelled out. I stare at them with a look of disbelief. I was trying to leave this team, and all of the sudden... these boys told me they love me. What did I get myself into?

End of Visions

The ball eventually gets too strong for me. I feel myself gets thrown off as the ball makes it in to the goal. I land on the ground, laying on my back as the final whistle is blown indicating the end of the game.

I just lay on the ground, staring up at the high ceiling above me. I close my eyes as tears starts to roll down the side of my cheeks. I hear footsteps rushing towards me, along with voices calling out my name.

I feel a hand on my cheek. "L/N..." a voice said. I slowly open my eyes, making contact with a pair of brown eyes that are filled with worry. "Are you okay? Why did you try to stop a kick like that? You're only hurting yourself. I'm so sorry..." he asked. His eyes reflect guilt because he probably think I got hurt because of him.

"Endou..." I said in a soft voice. His eyes widen a little as I said his name. I turn my head to look at the others to see everyone in Raimon has gathered around me. I sad smile starts to form on my face. "Forgive me..." I said. I slowly moves to sit up, only to be pulled into a hug.

"No one blames you, L/N..." Gouenji said, as he held her close. He gently run his hand through my h/c hair. More tears starts to stream down my cheeks. "What matters to us is that you're back to being the L/N Y/N that we have grown to cherish..." he said.

I wrap my arms around him. I turn to look at the others and smiles softly at them. "Thank you, everyone. Thank you for not giving up on me..." I said. Everyone cheers happily as they gather around me, embracing me in a group hug. I close my eyes as I feel at ease, knowing none of them hold grudges against me.

"Welcome back, L/N" Fubuki said, after pulling away from the hug. I give them a close-eyed smile. Everyone smiles at me as they look so happy to see I'm back to being myself.

I'm so thankful for these people in my life. Even though my initial purpose of joining Raimon was not a good intention. At least, in the end... I found my true purpose, and it was all thanks to them. A soft smile starts to form on my face as everyone expresses how happy they are to know that I'm back to being myself. I don't know what I would have done without them.
