Just In Time Part 17

10:30pm

Jay was watching TV, when his phone began to vibrate. It was Racquel. "Hey beautiful you alright??" he asked "Jayyyeee can you please come out with us!! I miss you" she said. He chuckled, it sounded like Racquel was wasted. He heard her friends chanting for him to come out in the background. He smiled "You sure. I don't want to ruin girls night?" he asked "yes we all want you to come out especially meeee! Cause I miss your face!" she said. He blushed. God he loved this girl. "Where are you?" He asked "uhh are at bar 91" she said "okay I'll drive over now. See you in about 15 minutes" he said. "Yayyy bye bye Jayyyeee" she said "bye bye" he said and hung up.

He got up and got changed into a pair of skinny black jeans and white t-shirt and gold pendant around his neck. He put on a pair of black boots and Sherpa lined plaid jacket. He locked the door and went down into the parking garage. He had got into his Mercedes SUV, he had just bought it before he met Racquel as he was getting tired of claustrophobic and delayed trains and being late for training.

He drove down to where the bar was and parked in the car park. He got out and walked into the bar. He saw Racquel and her friends at a booth in the corner. There were three guys hovering around the table trying to speak to them, but the girls were trying their hardest to ignore them. One in particular was trying to speak to Racquel. Jay became a little annoyed as it looked like he couldn't take a hint.

He started to walk over as he saw Racquel jump out of her seat push the guy out the way. Which Jay smiled about and ran into his arms. He could tell these guys freaked her out a bit. He picked her up and kissed her gently. "Heyyooo" Racquel said "hey babe" he said as he put her down. She led him to the table, two of the guys were still trying to speak to the girl whilst the one trying to speak to Racquel was glaring at Jay. "Hey girls. These guys bothering you?" he asked "pretty much yeah" Courtney said. "So what if we are. What are you going to do about it?!" said one of the guys "how about you two just leave my girlfriend and her friends alone. They don't want anything to do with you"  he said as he towered over the two men, putting Racquel and her friends behind him. One of the men puffed out his chest and tried to square upto him. "I am gonna give you another chance to fuck off and leave us alone, before I throw you and your friends through that window! Jay growled.

The third man walked over "Brad just leave it. They are all prudes anyway" he said. "You're lucky my boy came over" Brad said. Jay smirked "ooh okay" he said. Brad growled at Jay and left with his two friends. Jay sat down and Racquel put her head in his shoulder. The girls thanked him for getting rid of them. He smiled "anytime..I fucking hate arseholes like that who can't get the hint" he said. They all thanked him again. They were all grateful that Jay came to the rescue, whilst the men were at the bar Racquel had asked the girls if she should get Jay as they had told them over and over again that they were not interested. They all agreed. Jay was a six foot two athlete with a muscular physique, if anyone could scare them off he could and he did.

Racquel whispered in his ear "I'll thankyou properly later" she said as her hand slipped to his inner thigh. He brought her closer to him and kissed her, she smiled through the kiss. He pulled away. "You want a drink?" he asked. She nodded. "Girls. Anyone else want another one?!" he asked. "Could we get three pink gins and lemonade" Courtney asked, getting her purse out "yeah course. Don't worry I'll get them in" he said "thanks jay!" the three girls said. Jay grabbed Racquels hand and they went over to the bar. They watched Racquel glow as Jay was kissing her cheek and whispering in her ear. He had his strong arms around her waist as she has her back in his chest.

"I've never seen her so happy. I hope he doesn't hurt her" Ashley said. "I hope Sel isn't right and he's trying to date the whole friendship circle" Courtney said. Selena nodded "yeah we'll just have to figure him out. I hope he's a good guy" she said. The girls were so protective of Racquel as in her last relationship, she had been cheated on and he had cheated with a friend of theirs, who was no longer a friend. He had been having an affair for 6 months with her and has been dating Racquel for a year. It broke Racquel's heart when she found out.

They looked over at the couple at the bar. Jay was tucking Racquel's hair behind her ear and looking at her lovingly as she ordered the drinks.
It was hard to deny that Jay wasnt into Racquel but they had to make sure.
