Just In Time Part 4

Tom opened the door "I've got a surprise for you mate" he said "Oh right" Jay said raising an eyebrow "It's not some palm reader like last time is it?" Matt asked "No but, I swear to god she was spot on with everything" Tom said as he stood to the side and let Selena in. Jay smiled "Hi, what are you doing here?" he asked "Tom told me, and I wanted to see you. Is that okay" she asked "Of course it is!" he said as he waved her in. She then walked in, Matt stood up and offered her his seat "thanks" she said to Matt. "Oh these are my best friends Matt and Tom and boys you know Selena, Selena you may know who they are if you like Harry Potter" Jay laughed "I knew I recognised you from somewhere! Your Draco Malfoy" Selena said "I am. Potter!" he said in Dracos voice. "He loves it, anytime he can pull that card he will" Jay said "They still did you dirty with that hair though" Matt said "I know had to bleach it for years" Tom said. "I am going to get a drink, you want anything Jay, Selena?" he asked "Can you get me a coffee mate, gonna need it as i can't sleep tonight" he said "I'm good thanks" Selena smiled "I better call the wife, let he know where I am" Matt said before leaving the room after Tom. 

Jay looked at her "I'm sorry" he said, "for what?!" she asked "I really wanted us to have more of a better first date...than a hospital room" he said with a laugh. "No it's fine. You are okay and not that badly injured and I'm hanging out with you and that's the most important thing" she smiled. Jay took her hand and smiled, as he squeezed it. She then intertwined them together. "What happened?" she asked "To be honest I don't remember, I just remember going onto the pitch and then waking up in the locker room" he said "Do you know what the diagnosis is" she asked "Uh concussion, I've got to stay up all night. As it's dangerous if I fall asleep" he said. Selena nodded. A nurse then knocked on the door "come in" he said. The nurse walked in with a clipboard "So the good news is you can go home, but the bad news is you'll have to stay awake for another 8 hours" she said. Jay smiled "Brilliant thanks" he smiled, as he signed the discharge papers. "You may get headaches, just take some ibuprofen painkillers as you normally would" the nurse said  "Okay that's fine, thanks" he said, the nurse nodded smiled and left. "Do you need a ride home" she asked "Uh yeah sure thanks" he smiled. "I'll wait outside so you can get dressed" she smiled "Thanks" he smiled before she left the room. He got dressed, grabbed his phone and wallet and opened the door "you ready?" she asked "Yeah lets go" he smiled. 

They walked to the entrance where they saw a load of flashing lights and people shouting "fuck" she muttered "I'm sorry, someone must've called the papz" she said to Jay. He smiled "Why are you sorry?" he asked, he took her hand "Follow me I know a back exit" he said "How do you know back exit, to get to the car park" she asked "My mum is Emma Thompson. I am used to this shit" he laughed, she smiled and intertwined their fingers. They went through the back exit and managed to get into Selena's car without being noticed. "Where am I taking you?" she asked "uh my mum's please. I am waiting to sign a lease on an apartment in NYC, so staying with them till i get sorted" he said. She nodded and began driving "No it's fine, I get it! Which apartment complex you moving too?" she asked "The Plaza" he said "No way. I have an apartment there, which number" she asked "308, which one do you live in?" he asked "320!" she said. He smiled "seems like we'll be seeing a lot more of each other then" he smiled "Yeah definitely!" she blushed, as they drove off into the night.
