Just In Time Part 12

Racquel woke up in Jay's bed. Her clothes were all over the floor from the night before. She grabbed her vest top and panties and put them on. She walked out of the bedroom and into the kitchen. Jay was at the stove cooking in his boxer shorts and a vest, that showed his physique,  she walked over and wrapped her arms around his waist and lay her head on his back. He smiled, turned the stove down and turned around in her arms. He kissed her head softly "morning" he whispered. She looked up at him and smiled "morning" she said. He leaned down and kissed her. He put his strong arms around her shoulders and swayed her. She had not felt this safe and wanted in a long time. He pulled away "I wanted to ask. Are we official then?" he asked taking a strand of hair and putting it behind her ear. She kissed him "yeah if you'll have me" she said, putting her arms around his neck "I will always to want to have you" he said, bringing her closer to him. They kissed again "shall we have one last shower together before I go boyfriend?!" she asked tracing her hand on his chest.

Racquels phone then started to ring. It was Selena.

"Sorry I better answer this" she said, kissing him quickly before she pulled away and answered it. Racquel walked to the bay window and looked at the view from his apartment as Jay turned and served the omelettes on two plates.

"Okay great. Yeah see you later. Bye babes" she said before she hung up. She walked back over to the kitchen "everything alright?" he asked, raising one of his eyebrows as he seasoned his omelette. "Selena is flying in this afternoon" she said as she picked up a strawberry and put it in her mouth. Jay nodded "ah okay. So we only have one more morning before we go underground" he said "until I tell her..." she sighed disappointingly. "What's up?" he asked getting cutelry from the drawer. "I dunno. I'm excited to see the girls but, everything was going so good and now we can't be together properly" she said. He walked over and wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her in. "I'm literally down the hall. You are always welcome to sneak out and come see me" he said "I know it won't be the same though" she said "yeah but as you said it's not forever. It's until you feel it's the right time to tell her. If you need me I'll be here. Always" he said and kissed her head softly. He pulled away and went into a drawer in the kitchen, he got a key and gave it to her. Racquel was shocked "I know I know....it's fast but it's just so you can come whenever you'd like day or night. Even when I'm not here, if you want a break and your not with Selena. You more than welcome to come by make a coffee or whatever" he smiled softly. She kissed him softly. She took the key and held it. "Thankyou for this. It means more than you know" she smiled. She was so thankful this small gesture meant alot to her. Jay was committing to her in a way her ex couldn't even to a year and a half into their relationship. She kissed him one last time before she went to shower and got changed. "Now about that shower" he said as he grabbed her put her over his shoulder and carried her to the bathroom. She screamed with glee laughing.

Racquel kissed Jay softly at the door. She knew this was the last time for a while they would be able to be so happy and carefree. Part of her just wanted to tell Selena as soon as she arrived, but she knew she had to wait for the right time. Not just for her but for their friendship as that was one of the most important things in her life. But Jay was also becoming more important in her life. She left with a sense of dread that she didn't know the next time she would be able to spend time with the man she was falling so hard for.
