Just In Time Part 15

Jay and Racquel stood there a little longer. He just wanted to make it all better. He held her and would hold her tight until she said she was okay. She looked up "thankyou for being here" she said "Anytime" he said and kissed her gently. She pulled away as Jays phone rang. He answered it.

"Who was that? she asked "my best friend Tom, just wondering where I am" he said "shall we go back in?" she asked "yeah if you want too" he said. She nodded. He kissed her head and led her back into the venue. Jay saw Tom wave them over, he led Racquel over to the boys.

Once they reached the table, he saw Angela Matt's wife had joined their table. "Boys and Ange this is Racquel. Racq this is Tom, Matt and Ange" he said. They all exchanged hellos and Racquel sat down. Jay grabbed two champagne flutes and gave one to Racquel. The couple chatted with the others. Racquel got to know Jays friends and vice versa. "How'd you guys meet?" she asked "we met as jay was a naughty boy and got dragged to set with his mum as he broke a window" Tom laughed. Racquel was confused "my mum's Emma Thompson and I met them all on the harry potter set" Jay said "your mum is like the Emma Thompson?! The oscar winning actress" she asked "yup" he said "oh that's cool" she said with a smile. He kissed her, she returned it. Tom was seeing what Jay was and Racquel seemed like a good fit for his best friend.

The couple spent the night speaking with the group. They were laughing and joking by the end of the evening. Racquel was hurt and she kept catching glances of Selena at the DJ booth with Benny and Courtney. Every time Jay saw her looking over he would grab her hand or kiss her head to let her know he was there. She was so thankful her boyfriend was so supportive and he showed her tonight he had her back.

The rest of the night compromised with drinks, shots and more drinks. They got very drunk and happy. Jay bought Racquel a bottle of Emma's new gin and they made their way home getting a pizza on the way back.

Jay opened the door for Racquel and closed it behind them. He put the pizza on the island and opened the box. The pizza was still steaming hot and they ate it at the kitchen island together. He smiled at her "you are so wasted" he laughed "so are you!" she said "guilty" he said. She laughed. He kissed her cheek, she stood up swallowed the piece of pizza and kissed him passionately. He returned the kiss, his hands running up and down her body. He placed them on her arse and pulled her closer to his waist. She let out a small moan,  pulled away and jumped up on the counter putting her legs around his waist as they continued to make out. Jay began to unzip her dress as she took his shirt off. He then took his undershirt off. He picked her up, her legs wrapped around his waist and he took her to the bedroom.

Jay woke up to the sound of the shower. He got up stretched, took off his boxers and decided to join his girlfriend. He opened the shower door, she smiled coyly as he got in the cubicle. He wrapped his arms around her waist as she wrapped her around his neck. He kissed her "morning" he said "morning" she smiled as she kissed him again. He took some soap and started to wash her body as she did the same. This has become a ritual of theirs. They took a shower together. Sometimes it ended with sex sometimes it was just because they wanted intimacy and to be near each other.

Racquel walked into the kitchen as Jay was putting bagels into the toaster. She walked over and kissed him. He had lent her a pair of his rugby shorts and she had left a vest top previously. "You look super sexy in them shorts" he said with a wink "so do you. I've seen your Instagram" she said with a wink. He blushed. The toaster then popped up "bagel?" he asked "I'd love one. I'll do the coffees" she said. "Thanks baby" he said as Racquel got two mugs out. 

Jay and Racquel got their coffee and bagels and sat down at the island. "How you feeling this morning" Jay asked "hungover!" she said "well you did do a lot of shots last night" he laughed. "How about you?" she asked "I feel shocking" he said pouting his lips "oh but you did it to yourself baby" she said and kissed him. He returned the kiss. "How you feeling about the Selena situation?" he asked. Racquel looked down and shrugged "i don't know....she didn't say anything last night she just walked away" she said sadly. There was then a knock at the door. Jay became confused and answered it.

"Hi Jay, I'm guessing Racquel is here" Selena said. Jay looked behind him and his girlfriend nodded. "Uh yeah come in" he said as he opened the door. "Thanks" she said, with a tight smile as she stepped in. There was an awkward tension in the apartment. Jay knew he had to let Racquel and Selena talk. He walked over to his girlfriend "I'm going to watch rugby in the bedroom. Let me know if you need me" he said before kissing her quickly and walking to the bedroom.
