Rose's consciousness faded after she realized the origin of the mask, and she found herself waking up in a clinic inside a hospital. As she lay on a bed among dozens of other people, attended to by nurses and doctors, her eyes scanned the room. In the distance, she spotted Raven.

Watching him engaged in lively conversation with a nurse, their smiles and laughter tugged at Rose's heart. A wave of hurt washed over her, a strange sensation considering she hadn't known Raven for very long.

A nurse approached Rose's bed with a gentle smile, carrying a clipboard and a concerned expression.

"How are you feeling?" she asked in a soothing voice.

Rose opened her eyes and managed a weak smile. "I'm okay, just a little lightheaded," she replied, her voice sounding faint.

The nurse furrowed her brows slightly, jotting down notes on her clipboard. "Do you mind if I ask what happened? "

Rose hesitated, not wanting to cause any alarm. "I think I just forgot to eat breakfast this morning," she said with a nervous chuckle. "Probably just low blood sugar."

The nurse nodded understandingly, though her expression remained concerned. "Well, it's good that you're awake now. Just try to take it easy, alright? I'll bring you something to eat."

Rose nodded gratefully as the nurse bustled away to attend to other patients. She closed her eyes, feeling a mix of embarrassment and relief wash over her.

"Rose? " Another voice asked.

As Rose turned towards the voice, she saw Raven approaching her bed with a look of concern etched on his face.

"What happened?" he inquired as he drew nearer, his concern evident in his tone.

Rose offered him a weak smile, feeling a mixture of embarrassment and gratitude at his presence. "I fainted," she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper. "I think it's because I skipped breakfast this morning."

Raven's brows furrowed with worry. "You should take better care of yourself."

Rose nodded, feeling a pang of guilt at causing him worry. "I will," she assured him, grateful for his care and attention.

At that moment, a nurse arrived with a tray bearing orange juice and a sandwich, breaking the silence that had settled between Rose and Raven.

"I had my gun test today," Rose informed him, deciding to share a bit about her day.

Raven's eyebrows lifted with interest. "Did you pass?" he inquired, his curiosity evident.

Rose gave a nonchalant shrug. "I fainted afterwards," she admitted, a hint of self-deprecation in her tone.

Raven couldn't help but chuckle at her response, finding her candor endearing despite the circumstances.

Rose looked down at her hands, a faint smile playing on her lips.

"I'm sure you passed," Raven reassured her, his voice soft and comforting. His concern was evident in the gentle furrow of his brow as he studied her.

"How's your day going?" Rose inquired, taking a sip of the orange juice provided by the nurse. Her eyes lifted to meet Raven's, curiosity mingling with genuine interest.

Raven's expression softened as he leaned back slightly, a tired but genuine smile forming on his lips. "Lots of patients, and I'm getting ready to do surgery," he explained, a hint of weariness in his voice.

A mischievous glint sparked in Rose's eyes as she teased, "And who's the pretty nurse?" She immediately regretted her impulsive question, feeling the heat rise to her cheeks in embarrassment.
