“Well, look who’s back!” Eddy whistled, his eyes lighting up as Rose sauntered into the bar.

Rose slipped onto her favorite stool, the dim light casting a warm glow around her. She wore a pair of tight-fitting denim shorts that accentuated her long legs, showcasing the subtle curves that had always drawn attention. Her boots hugged her calves, adding a hint of edginess to her outfit, while a belly-button-baring shirt clung to her form, teasingly hinting at her toned midriff. The jacket draped casually over her shoulders, giving her an effortlessly cool vibe while allowing glimpses of her figure beneath.

Her hair was pulled back into a messy ponytail, strands falling playfully around her face and framing her sharp cheekbones. The tousled look added an air of seduction, inviting glances without trying too hard. Rose’s lips were painted a deep shade of crimson, a stark contrast against her flawless complexion, and her blue ocean eyes sparkled with a mix of mischief and confidence.

As she leaned against the bar, her posture relaxed yet alluring, she exuded a magnetic charm that drew the attention of patrons nearby. She flashed a playful smile at Eddy, her presence filling the room with an intoxicating energy that made it hard to look away.

“You look astonishing! I’ll have to shoo flies from here,” Eddy remarked, his eyes widening in appreciation.

Rose chuckled, feeling the confidence swell within her. With a playful smirk, she slipped off her jacket, letting it fall casually onto the bar stool beside her, allowing Eddy a full view of her form. The fitted shirt hugged her curves perfectly, accentuating her figure while revealing just enough to keep the intrigue alive.

“Girl, you’re gonna give someone a stroke,” Eddy teased, shaking his head in disbelief. He quickly prepared her favorite drink, his movements deft and practiced, the clink of glasses and the shuffling of bottles providing a lively backdrop to their banter.

With a flourish, he placed her drink in front of her, the ice clinking enticingly against the glass. Rose wrapped her fingers around the cool rim, her gaze locked onto Eddy, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

“Thanks, Eddy. I’ll try to keep the strokes to a minimum,” she replied with a wink, taking a sip and savoring the sweet, tangy flavor.

Eddy eyed her, his gaze drawn to how the shirt accentuated her curves—her chest highly pronounced and her skinny waist teasingly inviting. And then there were those legs, long and alluring, making it hard for anyone to look away.

“God, those legs,” Eddy teased, sliding a juicy burger and a generous serving of French fries in front of her, followed by her second drink.

“Oh, Eddy, only you make me feel good,” she stated with a playful smirk. He chuckled.

“How’s work?” he asked, wiping his hands on a napkin as he settled onto the barstool beside her.

Rose groaned, leaning back slightly. “I was on incapacity. Going back Monday,” she replied, her tone laced with resignation.

“What’s with the groan? Will?” Eddy asked, tilting his head slightly.

Rose laughed sarcastically. “I dated my boss,” she said, rolling her eyes at the memory.

Eddy cringed. “Let me guess: broke up?”

“Yep,” Rose chuckled, the humor providing a much-needed release.

“That sucks,” Eddy said, his expression sympathetic.

Rose gulped her drink, feeling the warmth of the alcohol settle in. “Hey, take it easy,” he stated, noticing her distress.
