The elevator doors opened, and out stepped Sasha Hutton. She wore an oversized suit that seemed to swallow her small frame, a pair of large glasses perched on her nose, and her hair pulled back in a tight bun.

Rose couldn't help but eye her skeptically. Big suit, nun-like appearance, big glasses.

"About time," Wyatt called out, his voice loud and impatient.

Sasha turned to him with a slight frown but quickly composed herself. "Sasha Hutton," she said, feigning shyness as she introduced herself.

Rose stepped forward, extending her hand. "Roselyn Hansley," she said warmly.

They shook hands, and Sasha moved down the line.

"Mark Delaney," Mark said, his handshake firm.

"Arina Jackson!" Arina chirped enthusiastically, practically bouncing as she extended her hand.

"Wyatt. Blondie," Wyatt said with a smirk, crossing his arms as he leaned against the table.

"Jonathan Adler," Jonatahn said.

Rose suppressed a smile, knowing full well that almost everyone in the Elite group likely wanted to jump up and hug Sasha, but they all stood still, keeping up appearances.

The others followed suit, introducing themselves one by one. "Riley," "Teresa," "Frank," "Mira," "Raven," and finally, "Lucas," who lingered as his eyes narrowed slightly at Sasha.

"Do I know you?" Lucas asked, his tone curious and slightly suspicious.

Sasha tilted her head innocently, her expression unreadable.

"You're asking the wrong blonde," Wyatt interjected with a bluff, waving his hand dismissively.

"Well, if that's all, I'll take my leave. Great job today," Wyatt said, standing and brushing off his pants as though he'd done anything worth commending.

Jonathan nodded, keeping his expression neutral.

"We get paid tomorrow or next Friday?" Wyatt asked, pausing halfway to the elevator.

"Tomorrow," Jonathan replied, his tone clipped, "but only for the day you showed up."

Wyatt grinned and made a celebratory fist pump. "Yes!"

Then, with a smirk, he added, "Whatever. Hope to see you all in a few months."

He stomped dramatically toward the elevator, turning just before the doors closed to throw a smug grin at the group. "Goodbye, suckers except you Jonathan, of course."

The doors slid shut, taking him away.

Silence filled the room for a moment before Raven muttered, "He's... a piece of work."

Rose exhaled deeply, shaking her head. "That's one way to put it."

"Alright," Jonathan said, clapping his hands together lightly as he took a seat. "While our room is getting set up, let's see what we got."

Everyone placed their stuff on the table. Jonathan looked around expectantly as Riley began to speak.

"The serial killer now has 24 confirmed victims," Riley explained, his tone grim. "He's exclusively targeting men and women from high society."

He gestured to a set of photos spread out before them. "Kidnapped individuals including Mikaela and her grandfather." Riley presented pictures Rose had previously received, showing the pair alive and seemingly unharmed.

"To what we know," Riley continued, pointing to another set of images, "he also has Martin Jenkins in his custody. Jenkins is being used to carry out the attacks on all the victims you're seeing here."
