Amelia's POV

In the play area of the university in France, Amelia and her friends sat huddled together, their laughter mingling with the distant chatter of other students. But their peaceful moment was interrupted by the approach of one of the university guardians, his expression serious and purposeful. Before he could even open his mouth to speak, however, Amelia's voice cut through the air like a blade.

"I am going to do the business project with Agent Atwood," she declared, her tone firm and resolute. The words hung heavy in the air, sending shockwaves through the small group gathered around her.

Rose, her eyes wide with disbelief, was the first to respond. "Wait, are you out of your mind?" she exclaimed, her voice tinged with concern. "Aiden, what is even happening?" she turned to their other friend, seeking answers in his bewildered expression.

Aiden shook his head in confusion, unable to make sense of the sudden turn of events. "I can't just get it," he muttered, his brow furrowed in frustration.

Amelia's gaze swept over her friends, her heart heavy with the weight of the decision she had made. "Guys, I'm sorry," she began, her voice soft but determined. "I cannot explain the whole thing. It's a bit difficult. But please, cooperate. Trust me, I will be fine."

She reached out, placing a reassuring hand on Rose's trembling shoulder. "I know that it's hard to believe and let me go with something so insane," she continued, her voice filled with sincerity. "But trust me, I have a reason, even though I'm not able to talk about it."

Amelia's eyes met theirs, pleading for understanding, for acceptance. "And it's for my own good," she added, her voice steady despite the turmoil swirling within her. "I know it's a lot to ask, but please, trust me."

Silence descended upon the group, the weight of Amelia's words sinking in as they grappled with the gravity of her decision. But in the end, they nodded, their trust in their friend unwavering, even in the face of uncertainty. For Amelia had always been their beacon of strength, their guiding light, and they knew that whatever path she chose, she would walk it with courage and conviction.

.........

As France processed Amelia's decision, a wave of disappointment washed over him. He had always admired her unwavering determination and her willingness to take risks, but this felt different. This decision seemed reckless, and it left him with a sense of unease.

France had grown fond of Amelia and her friends during their time at the university. He had watched them navigate the challenges of academic life with grace and resilience, and he had hoped that they would continue to thrive under his watchful eye.

But now, as he watched Amelia's friends reluctantly accept her decision, he couldn't shake the feeling of disappointment that lingered in the air. He had always believed in the power of teamwork and collaboration, and he couldn't help but wonder if Amelia was making a mistake by going it alone.

Despite his disappointment, France knew that he had to respect Amelia's autonomy and her right to make her own choices. He could only hope that she would find success and fulfillment in her endeavors, even if they took her down a path that he could not fully understand.

With a heavy heart, France turned away, his thoughts filled with a mixture of concern and uncertainty for Amelia's future. But deep down, he knew that she was a force to be reckoned with, and he held onto the hope that she would emerge from this journey stronger and wiser than ever before.

Amelia's POV

The next day in class, the Teacher's stern gaze swept over the room, his sharp features etched with authority. He stood tall at the front of the classroom, his presence commanding respect as he addressed the students. With a sinking feeling in my chest, I braced myself for what was to come.
