In the hollow echoes of our heartbeats' fade,
Our souls entwined, in shadows they wade,
As love's flickering flame begins to wane,
Our dreams, like dying embers, feel the pain.
My life, a vessel adrift in your sea,
My will, my essence, lost to apathy,
Bound to you, through tempests and decay,
As long as you haunt me, I cannot stray.
Feel me in the whispers of the wind's lament,
In the tears that fall from a mournful firmament,
Hear me in the river's mournful dirge,
In the darkness that envelops, a silent surge.
Even as decades fade, and hope is but a ghost,
My presence, a shadow, a haunting host,
For every fleeting star, a silent plea,
That in this endless sorrow, you'll remember me.
