I wander like a ghost, lost in the mist,
Thoughts swirling, in an endless twist,
The cold wind bites at my face, a chilling embrace,
But within, I feel naught but empty space.
An empty vessel, a vessel decayed,
A puppet without strings, left to fade,
Speechless, motionless, a doll in the dark,
With a hole in my chest, pulling me apart.
Yet amidst the abyss, there's a fleeting light,
The memory of your smile, sweet and bright,
It pumps life into my veins, if only for a while,
Before fading into darkness, with a silent smile.
I am but a ghost, haunting my own mind,
Lost in the echoes of what I left behind,
But even in this emptiness, I find a trace,
Of your memory, your smile, a saving grace.
