In your name, countless words have been penned,
Endless songs sung, where your essence does ascend,
On my cheeks, tears have cascaded, in silent plea,
Each one a whispered prayer, calling out to thee.
The mere thought of you sends shivers down my spine,
Imagining your presence, like a divine design,
You fill my entire being, every inch, every pore,
Impossible to imagine life without you, forevermore.
Yet when you depart, like a fleeting bird in flight,
My joy, my energy, they vanish from sight,
For with you, you take a piece of my soul,
Leaving me incomplete, a fragmented whole.
But even in your absence, your essence remains,
A lingering presence, amidst life's refrains,
For though you may leave, your love endures,
A beacon of hope, forever secure.
