Often, the desires of the heart lead us astray,
Down thorny paths, where shadows play,
While others effortlessly grasp what we strive for,
They discard it, like a moth in the wind's uproar.
They flutter about, directionless and free,
While we struggle, bound by destiny,
But in the cruel dance of life's design,
Second chances await, for those who bide their time.
Like a hunter in the shadows, we must wait,
For the moment when opportunity knocks at fate's gate,
Perhaps the wind longs to carry it back,
To us, if we show a heart unbound by lack.
So let us hold onto hope, in the darkest hour,
And when opportunity calls, let us seize its power,
For life may be cruel, but it also forgives,
Giving us second chances, for as long as we live.
