Like a dirty doll, tossed aside,
Unable to fill the void, deep inside,
You destroyed every feeling, every dream,
Leaving me adrift, in a relentless stream.
Every memory tarnished, every smile stained,
By the cruelty of your actions, unrestrained,
How could you utter those words, so sweet,
When behind them lay deceit, deceit complete.
Blinded by love's illusion, I fell into your snare,
Unaware of the beast lurking there,
Now I'm left with this hole in my chest,
Haunted by memories, unable to rest.
How could I be so blind, to believe in your lie,
To let you consume me, without asking why,
Love, a cruel trick played by fate,
Leaving me alone, to contemplate.
