This emptiness, this void, it claws at my soul,
Every minute, every second, it takes its toll,
Devouring me from within, a relentless hunger,
Leaving me hollow, torn asunder.
Loneliness, a specter that haunts my days,
A relentless companion in life's endless maze,
It gnaws at my spirit, it tears me apart,
Leaving me barren, devoid of heart.
No dreams dare to blossom, no hopes dare to soar,
In this desolate wasteland, where pain is the core,
It returns with each dawn, with each setting sun,
Levelling me, until all is undone.
My body, a vessel, decaying and worn,
By the weight of this anguish, this ceaseless scorn,
No light in sight, no beacon to guide,
Just darkness that swells, a relentless tide.
But even in this darkness, a flicker remains,
A spark of defiance amidst despair's chains,
For in the depths of my sorrow, I find a plea,
To rise from the ashes, to break free.
