If I were condemned to face death's cold embrace,
Choosing my final meal in this somber space,
I'd forego lavish feasts, in favor of simplicity,
A glass of water, with your presence, my felicity.
For in your company, the darkness fades away,
With each shared moment, a glimmer of light at bay,
Your smile, a beacon in the night's endless gloom,
Guiding me through shadows, dispelling the doom.
And when our eyes meet, in that fleeting glance,
A universe unfolds, in a timeless dance,
Your gaze captures mine, in its tender hold,
And all that was once lost, now seems to unfold.
So, if death were to come, with its inevitable decree,
I'd face it with courage, knowing you're with me,
For even in the darkest hour, your presence shines,
In a glass of water, with you, my soul aligns.
