In the depths of my being, shadows dance,
Whispers of love lost, in a somber trance.
Hatred coils, a serpent in my chest,
Squeezing out hope, leaving unrest.
Love, a distant memory, now stained with pain,
Echoes of laughter drowned in the rain.
Bitterness blooms, like a flower of spite,
Choking out joy with each venomous bite.
Anger simmers, beneath a calm facade,
A volcano waiting to erupt, stark and raw.
Yet amidst the turmoil, a glimmer of light,
A beacon of hope, shining bright.
Indifference wraps around, like a heavy cloak,
Shielding from heartache, a silent evoke.
Pain pulses, a relentless beat,
In the depths of my soul, a relentless heat.
But in the shadows, a flicker appears,
A whisper of peace, dispelling fears.
For even in darkness, there's a chance to find,
A spark of love, in the depths of the mind.
