I couldn't help but keep looking at Luke. I'm unsure of what I'm feeling... when I see him my stomach knots and it's like I can't stop thinking about him. I wanna spend time with him. When did this start? Why do I feel this way? In a mist of my thoughts, Luke interrupted it by saying "I think it's best if I head out..."
"Oh uh okay... well see you tomorrow then!"
"Yeah," he says, giving a smile before heading out.
After he leaves I close the door and flop on my bed. My heart is racing. I smile 'Do I like him? Is this what liking someone feels like? Why do I feel this way?' I get on my phone and yoogle "Am I gay?" after I answer all the luzzfeed questions they tell me I might be bisexual. "Huh, what is that?" I yoogle some more. I learned that bisexual or bi is a sexual or romantic attraction to more than one gender. I look over out my window into Luke's room then I hear a stern holler at me
"ZACHARY! STELLA! HERE NOW!"
"Oh shit-" I hurried down the stairs. "Yes, father?" Stella was not far behind me.
"I'm going to be leaving tonight and out for a few days." he straightens up "Zachary I'm putting you in charge of the house and maintaining order"
"WHAT BUT I'M OLDER-"
"QUIET!"
"Why me?"
"I'll explain when I'm back. I'm all packed. I must go now."
I'm unsure if this is the right idea. Like I know he only put me in charge so I can take over but I don't want to. I hate this family... Out of a fit of uncertainty, I text Luke 'Still wanna learn basketball? My dad will be out for a while. Let's meet up tomorrow after school!' After hesitating to hit send and wondering if he even thinks about me, I decided not to send it. All of a sudden I'm getting shoved into the dining room table. "Why do you get everything? Ugh, so unfair!"
"SHIT!" I accidentally sent the text to Luke! Damn stella!
"Shit is right god life is so unfair"
"Nonono-" Next thing I know the buzz of my phone is going off
'I'd love that!' Luke replied... LUKE REPLIED!
