Her Vampire & Her Werewolf

Chapter Twenty-Four

I walked outside and saw Tony and Darious standing ten feet from each other in a heated arguing match.

"I told you what I planned on" Darious said, making sure to keep some distance from Tony.

He knew he couldn't outrun Tony, but he still didn't want to be standing right next to him when Tony was like this.

"You said you were thinking about it, you knew Tori has been wanting to be with you for a long time, even before I came into the picture. You hurt her and then decide as soon as I go away on council business you mark her. Did you talk to her about what it's going to be like as a hybrid?" Tony yelled at Darious.

Darious stopped moving, he looked over at me. I could see he forgot to talk to me about that one little part.

"Is something bad going to happen?" I called out in a shaky voice. I started to have flashbacks after the last time I was bitten.

Tony was at my side in an instant, wrapping his arms around me and kissing the top of my head.

"No baby, nothing like before. Just the new things your body will be going through and you might have another entity inside of you, that would be your wolf. Darious was supposed to talk to you about all of this, making sure it was what you wanted and that you were ready for it."

I heard Darious walking over to me.

"I'm sorry Tori, I was excited to show you that new place I found and then our passion took over. I should have talked to you about it" Darious said, I could hear the remorse in his voice.

"Let's go inside and you can talk to me about it now" I said as I turned and went inside. Darious and Tony followed me in, Tony sat down next to me while Darious sat across from me. I could see he was trying to figure out where to start, I knew it didn't help with Tony staring daggers at him either.

"There are a few things, just as with female vampires, female werewolves do not have venom. Most female werewolves do not change into their wolf, I'm not sure with you because well my dear Tori you are an exception to every rule it would seem.

You will hear a voice eventually in your head, that will be your wolf. She is another side of you, listen to her. You may not be able to change form, but she can see behind your eyes and alert you to any dangers that may be out there.

If you do happen to be able to change into your wolf, the first time will be scary and it can hurt a little. If by chance that will happen, I will be with you every step of the way to help guide you.

Once you change your wolf will only know us by scent at first, she will be nervous so it's best that Tony isn't around if that happens until I have reassured her that no one here will hurt you or her.

She will protect you at all costs, you can think of her as your guardian is the best way to navigate this part of you.

I haven't ever met a hybrid before, so how things will coexist, I don't know, maybe Tony has some input on that one" Darious said, turning to look at Tony.

I looked over at Tony, he didn't answer but I could see he was going through his memories to see if at any time he came across one.

"I personally haven't come across a hybrid before, but that doesn't mean that they aren't out there. I will have to go to the council library to see if there are any records on them" Tony said, looking at us.

He gave me a warm smile, which set my body at ease. I didn't regret being turned into a hybrid, but I wanted Tony to love me and stay with me. After what Darious did to me when I turned into a vampire, I was a bit nervous that Tony would be the same way.

Darious took my hands in his, and I looked at him.

"Tony is in love with you baby, you are his life force. Nothing will ever turn him away from you" Darious said in my mind.

I forgot that we could communicate this way, a small smirk formed on my lips.

"I forgot about this, so I could be in my house, and you here, and I could say things or have images in my mind just to tease you" I replied back to him.

Darious rolled his eyes, which made me laugh out loud, and Tony looked over at us.

"While I'm in the room, please do not talk through your link. I find it insulting,'' Tony said, looking right at Darious.

I knew he wouldn't look at me that way, since I'm still learning the ropes with this but I still got his message loud and clear.

"Will this help me if people come after me?" I asked, looking between Darious and Tony.

"I think it will, you have the best of both worlds my sweet cat, speed, strength, stealth. You my dear are basically unstoppable" Tony said as a smile formed on his face.

I heard Tony's cell go off; he made a small noise which meant he wasn't happy at all.

"Where do you want to stay tonight?" Darious asked me.

"I think I just want to go home, take a hot bath and put on my night shirt and watch an old movie" I said looking at him. He looked down at our hands but nodded.

"I'm not upset or mad at you Darious, I just need a little bit of time to absorb all of this. I should have asked questions but my need to be with you as your mate took precedence over questions" I said looking at him.

"So you don't regret what we did?" he asked.

"Not one bit" I said, as I leaned in and softly kissed his lips.

Looking into his eyes I pushed my love for him into images of us kissing, and making love in that cave and how he made me feel.

"Thank you," he said through our link.

"That was the council, they are coming here in two days to evaluate Tori and to make sure she isn't a threat to our world" Tony said with a growl to his tone.

"How could I be a threat?" I asked, confused as to how they could think that.

"Because my wife, you are a rare gem, a hybrid and you carry alpha blood and my blood in your veins now. They said the last hybrid to ever exist was over two hundred years ago."

"Oh" was all I said. I stood up and walked over to Tony.

"I want to go home" I said looking into his eyes, he searched mine for a moment and then nodded his head.

"Let's go home sweetheart," he said quietly. I got into Tony's car and he drove us home.

Once inside I started up my bath, lit a few candles, and put on some soft piano music. I took off my clothes and slipped into the hot water. How did my life become so complicated so fast?

Of course when I moved here I didn't think I would end up falling in love with two guys, let alone a vampire and a werewolf.

Before moving here, I thought they were just stories for books and to make movies from.

Now I'm living a real life fantasy book, I don't regret it one bit. I have fallen in love with Tony who is my reason to breathe, and then there is Darious, who I fell in love with a while ago. He holds my heart as well.

Who would have guessed that I would be in love with two guys, let alone become a hybrid.

And now the council wants to make sure I'm not a threat, that one made me smile. I have never been a threat to anyone, now this. I rolled my eyes at that thought.

As I closed my eyes and soaked in the hot water, I could hear Tony on the phone talking to Darious about what it could mean if the council didn't like what they saw.

That made my blood run cold.
