Walking into my house, I went straight to the kitchen, grabbed the iced tea pitcher, and poured myself a glass. Devon brought the bags in and set them on the family room floor.

"Not sure where you want all of these" he said as he walked into the kitchen and grabbed himself a glass.

"The shelves are for the family room, and the flowerpots are for the porch. I want to add some flowers, sort of spruce it up out there" I said as I walked into the family room.

Picking up the four flowerpots, I took them outside and put them on the front porch. Placing them in different areas. Devon stood at the doorway watching what I was doing.

He was staying quiet, and honestly, I was grateful for that right now. I needed to cool down after what that woman said from the diner. She didn't know my aunt, and she sure as hell doesn't know me.

I stepped back and looked at where I had arranged the flowerpots, happy with my decision I looked over at Devon.

"Would it be alright if I used your internet to order some plants?" I asked him.

"Anytime you want or need to use my computer, it's all yours."

"Thank you, I called the phone company and since I don't have any lines coming to the house, they made a big deal of having to install them. I said forget it and hung up."

"Ya, your aunt wasn't much for technology, she had a cell phone and to her that was as far as it was going" Devon said with a smirk.

That was one thing about my aunt, she didn't like computers, or anything that related to them.

If she wanted to read, she always said that is what a bookstore was for, a book in your hands was worth reading, she would always say.

"Just let me know when and I will bring you to my place and show you around" he said.

Looking at Devon as he was leaning in the doorway, holding his glass of iced tea. I felt the walls start to crumble around my heart. He was a good-looking man, caring when he didn't have to be. He always made sure that I was taken care of, he was generous as well.

But there was something different about him that I couldn't put my finger on. Aunt Landy said he has a story to tell, but only with the woman he knew was meant for him.

I burnt the letter later that evening before bed, but her words were ingrained into my brain and heart. She felt he was right for me, and that I was right for him.

Now it was up to me to figure out how to make that happen when I haven't even dated before. I had no idea how things went when it came to relationships, dating, or even sex.

At twenty-six years old, I was still a virgin, but no one knew that, except my aunt, she had a way of knowing things when no words were ever spoken.

Devon stood there with his stunning green eyes; his body was muscular but not overly done. His hair was always neatly trimmed, but I bet he looked sexy with it a bit longer.

He had to be about six foot five, and he was thirty-six years old.  But there was an old-world vibe to him, it was as if he had lived a few hundred lifetimes but the man standing before me was too young for that.

"What are you thinking about dear Tori?" Devon asked as he walked down the steps and stopped right in front of me.

I looked up into his eyes, not sure what to say at that moment, I didn't want to tell him I was thinking about him and what it would be like to be kissed.

"Nothing much" I said and gave him a small smile.

He laughed and put his arm around my shoulder, steering me towards the house.
