Tony left to go back to the city, he had an early meeting with the council tomorrow.
"Anything else you would like to do?" Darious asked as we cleaned up our area before heading back to the house.
"First I want to take a shower then a nap, but after that I would like to go down to the collection room and have you tell me what's what, so I know what is okay to touch and what isn't" I said looking up at him as we walked to the car.
"We can do that" he said as we put everything into the car and once inside Darious blasted the air conditioning for our ride home.
After my shower I climbed into bed where I fell right asleep.
"Tori."
I woke up to someone shouting my name, and hearing Darious yelling at him to get out of the house, he wasn't welcomed there anymore.
I got up and went to see what was going on.
Standing in my kitchen was Devon, and he looked all disheveled. Something wasn't right here.
"What in the world is going on? And why are you in my house Devon?" I asked as I crossed my arms over my chest.
"We need to talk, it's important" Devon said as he walked towards me, I could see something wasn't right in his eyes. They were normally a brilliant green, but today they were dull. There wasn't any sparkle to them like there used to be.
"Let's go sit on the front porch Devon" I said, wanting him out of my house as quickly as I could. He nodded and went outside, I turned and looked at Darious.
"Text Tony about Devon showing up, something doesn't feel right" I said quietly as I grabbed two iced teas. Darious nodded and started to text Tony.
I knew Tony was in the city, and this could be nothing but I wanted Tony to know what was going on while he wasn't here.
I walked out onto the porch; Devon was pacing as I went to sit down he walked over and I handed him his tea. I sat down watching Devon drink all of his tea in one go.
"What's going on Devon, you have me worried" I said, watching him closely.
"I need you to take me back, Tori," he said as he stood there in front of me.
"I'm sorry Devon, but that isn't happening."
"Why can't it happen Tori?" he asked as he was starting to get aggravated.
"Because I can't trust you, that's why" I said, starting to get annoyed about this whole thing.
"I'm not leaving here until you agree to become my girlfriend again."
"Devon, I must insist that you leave, you are not welcome here and I will not become your girlfriend again" I said standing up.
Devon was right in front of me, grabbing my arms and lifting me up to his height.
"Why not?" he growled.
"Because I'm dating Tony" I said, I left out Darious for a reason, I didn't want him to get involved in this mess at the moment.
"You are what?" Devon's eyes grew wide and then narrowed.
"You heard me, now put me down Devon" I growled back, I was done trying to be nice to him.
"You think just because you are dating Tony, that is supposed to stop me?" he asked, laughing.
Before I could respond a car sped up the driveway and slammed on the breaks. Before I could blink Tony was standing inches from Devon.
