Chapter Twenty-Two

Sitting on the porch swing, sipping on my tea while Tony and Darious went around lighting candles along the railing was peaceful. Both of them have come to understand each other and what roles they play in my life. Each one was just as important as the other to me.

Even though I haven't told Darious that I wanted him as my mate just yet, I think he knew but wasn't a hundred percent sure.

"I know what we need" I said as I got up and went into the house, a moment later I sat back down as the house and porch was filled with soft instrumental music.

Tony stopped lighting the candles and listened for a moment before turning his eyes to me. A slow smile formed on his lips as he walked towards me. I smiled knowing what he was about to do.

He held out his hand and I placed mine in his as he guided me off of the porch onto the grass.

There under the stars we had our very first dance. Our bodies were molded together as we danced as one, it felt perfect. Looking up into his eyes he bent down and tenderly kissed my lips.

"How did I get so lucky in this life to find my perfect woman who has stolen my heart?" he asked as his lips were barely touching mine.

"You must have done something right" I whispered as I kissed him back.

For the next couple of hours, I danced with Tony and Darious under the stars, it was just what we needed tonight.

As we were about to go into the house, Darious pulled me to him.

"I want to ask you if you have thought about what you want to do about us?" he asked as he looked down into my eyes.

"I have thought about us and what I want" I said as I rested my hands on his chest, I could feel his heartbeat starting to pick up a little, his eyes held hope and uncertainty.

"I want us to be a couple, to see where it will go" I said, smiling up at him. His eyes grew wide and then a smile so big formed on his face.

He picked me up and spun me around in a circle, I squealed and covered my face into his shoulder.

Darious laughed and then gently put me down, I held onto him for a minute, waiting for the world to stop spinning.

Darious took hold of my hand and we walked into the house, where Tony was waiting for me. Darious said good night, he was going to his place to grab some of his clothes. I knew he was going there to give me and Tony space.

Once Darious left, Tony turned his attention towards me.

"Let's go to bed my wife" he said as he held out his hand, I placed mine in his and walked to our bedroom, where we spent the next few hours ravishing each other.

Laying in his arms, I kept kissing his chest, as his fingers ran through my hair. We were content, and our love was growing stronger every minute we were together.

"I have to go to work tomorrow for a few days, my sweet cat," Tony said quietly. We both hated when he had to leave, the council never gave him anything remotely close to home.

But it was his job and I knew what I signed up for before we became a couple.

"I'm going to miss you" I said, turning around so I was laying half on him as I looked at my soon to be husband. Tony looked so peaceful lying in bed with me.

You wouldn't ever guess that he was the boogeyman of the realms, a deadly and silent killer that everyone feared. Here he was gentle, loving, devoted and soon to be my husband.

"Drink from me my love, so it will help you while I am gone" he whispered. My teeth lengthened hearing him ask me to do that. He knew I would only do that while we were having sex, and he knew I wasn't ever going to say no to that.
