(Four years later)

Sitting on my porch swing, sipping my iced tea I couldn't help but laugh at Darious as he tried to chase after our two kids. They were only three years old, but they were hybrids after all.

I saw a car pull up and I waved as Todd got out of his car.

"Uncle Todd" Lucy and Tony called out, the twins were always excited to see Todd, mainly because he always brought them gifts.

"You shouldn't spoil them like that," I said standing up.

"Of course I have to," Todd said as he handed each one a toy.

Todd walked over to where I was standing and as he kissed me, his hand went to my ever growing stomach.

"How are my babies doing?" he asked as he rubbed my belly.

"Active" I said with a laugh.

"That is a good thing" he said as he bent down and whispered something into my stomach. The babies kicked and he laughed.

"Feisty, just like their mother" he said as he helped me sit back down on the swing.

"Let's go inside and get ready for bed" I called out to the twins, they groaned but did as I said. Darious and Todd never could understand how just me asking something the twins always did as I asked.

Darious and Todd went inside.

"I'll be right in" I said as I sat there for a moment watching the sunset. How life has taken a turn, I thought as I rubbed my stomach. I couldn't believe that it has been four years already.

It took me two years to let Todd into my life, I wasn't sure at first if it was what I wanted, but over time we became best friends, and it grew into something much more.

I was grateful for both men in my life, they each helped me heal in their own way.

Darious was my life force that kept me going, he was my true love and forever will be, nothing will ever change that, and I make sure to tell and show him every day.

Todd gave me a reason to keep going and he has helped me learn everything that I needed to, to help others that needed my guidance.

Being on the council I saw a lot of things that needed to be changed, and with Todd's help we were able to change them.

The farm has grown so much in just this short amount of time, all the horses are now at my barn. I also have a handful of goats, pigs, chickens, and cows.

We made sure to open the pasture to both properties that I owned. Darious moved into my house, and Todd moved into the second house that Darious used to live in.

Todd didn't want to be far away from me and having him close by was perfect.

We had our lives that sometimes were together and other days, I had my personal days with each of my mates.

The collection room was sealed off and wouldn't ever be found. Even if it was, the whole place was filled with concrete. I didn't want anyone to get their hands on it.

I could hear the laughter of my twins, as Todd and Darious tried to reason with the kids to get ready for bed, but the twins weren't having it.

My life has taken a few twists and turns to get to this point.

I was in love with both men, they each brought something that was needed in my life. As I stood up, I saw the stars starting to twinkle.

Looking out in the front yard, I could see dancing in Tony's arms, how he looked at me with so much love in his eyes and how tender his kisses were.

With a warm smile on my lips and my hand on my belly, "I will forever love you my husband" I whispered into the gentle breeze.

I turned around and as I walked into my house; I could feel the breeze gently caress me as if he was answering me back.
