"going home so soon?" jeno slurred, throwing an arm around minhyung's shoulders. "dude, we've been here for hours and donghyuck's about to black out," the older male laughed, straightening himself up while taking in his best friend's drunken state. jeno's movement were languid but he continued to hug minhyung. "i'm gonna miss you pal."

the blond let himself stay in his friend's embrace for a moment before shaking of jeno's hold. "i'll miss you too man. congrats on the wedding and have fun on your honeymoon. let's meet up when you get back," he patted jeno's shoulder and the younger mustered up a dazed wave. minhyung's began to retreat into the crowd when jeno's voice stopped him in his tracks.

"hyung! when are you gonna propose to donghyuck? you've been together for nearly a decade already!" minhyung smiled and yelled confidently, "soon!" over his shoulder, and then he was back to finding the love of his life among the crowd.

it wasn't hard to find donghyuck as he was still at the bar, convincing no one but himself that he wasn't completely wasted yet. jaemin was next to him in an identical state, and the two giggle together over things that no sober person would. "babe," minhyung slipped a hand around donghyuck's waist. "time to go home."

the silver haired male whined, burying his face in minhyung's neck, "the fun is just starting though." the taller of the two cradled donghyuck and held his face in his hands, "the fun began six hours ago, time to go home."

next to them, jaemin tsked. "such a party pisser, do you need jeno to arrange a ride for you?" minhyung was impressed with how well the newly-wed was able to function but didn't comment on it. "no it's okay, i didn't drink so i could drive us home tonight."

   "don't tell me..."

"our 1982 toyota camry of course."

"i don't get why you're so obsessed with that car. you've never even been a car guy."

minhyung smiled, glancing at donghyuck who was now softly breathing hot breaths against his collar bones.

"yeah well that was the year that donghyuck and i first went out. we went to the kukje gallery that opened that year in downtown seoul because donghyuck loved art and i needed to do something to win him over. actually, you and jeno helped me plan the date. you remember, don't you?" minhyung rambled, reminiscing the days when he made stupid choices because of a silly crush.

jaemin nodded, "of course I remember. is that all?"

minhyung shook his head, "that same year i got my license and took donghyuck out to a drive-in movie. afterwards the guy who orchestrated the whole thing announced that he was selling his car; his toyota camry, because the engine kept having problems and he was tired of dealing with it.

"i bought it for a cheap price and donghyuck stayed with me after school while i worked on it everyday. he'd sing to the records that i'd put on while i worked, and he'd watch me, refilling my glass of coke whenever i needed it. when i finished working on the car we went out for a ride around the countryside. then that night, in the car we..." minhyung cleared his throat and jaemin wrinkled his nose.

"wrap this up and leave the nasty details out," the younger muttered.

"well the next morning we woke up and the car was broken all over again," minhyung was grinning now, simply by thinking back on the fond memory. "we had to call repair services and just barely made it home before either of us could get in trouble. but i guess what i wanna say is that the car holds some of our best moments, you know?"

jaemin looked at him fondly, "corny, but i'm happy for you guys. the next wedding i'm at better be yours." he winked and clumsily got to his feet, placing a soft kiss on both minhyung and donghyuck's cheeks before going off to find his own husband.
