Gerald screams at us, I was getting a little sick of his bloody attitude. I grab him then look for Carter but I can't see him. I take a deep breath and dive into the water to try and find him but it's too deep and dark and I can't see him. I go back up for air
"Carter"
I scream as Gerald threads water, gasping for air so I grab him and think of the shore and realise I have no fucking idea where I am so I think of Carter and suddenly I'm under the water right at the bottom, Carter is floating holding his breath, his feet we're stuck in a bucket of concrete holding him down. I touch him and think of the shore and suddenly we land on our ass beside Gerald.
"What the fuck is going on"
I gasp coughing out water, Carter barfs and coughs doing the same thing.
"This makes no sense how the hell do you have concrete on your feet"
Gerald snaps
"I don't know I think it's magic, I think the witches have her"
Carter weases as my heart constricts in my chest. They had our baby?
What the fuck were we going to do?
Cleo pushes forward growling in my head, The whole breath left our lungs as I tried to catch a breath.
They had her? what if I don't get to her and heal her in time? Tears burn at my eyes as I sit there in shock as Gerald starts to punch the concrete around Carter's feet. Tears streamed down his cheeks.
"This is all my fault, if I didn't take that break she would still be here. It's all my fucking fault"
He screams punching the concrete, Carter grabs his arm to stop him.
"I'm scared too but right now we need to find her"
"What so you didn't freak out and nearly end the damn world when they took your mate!"
He shouts at Carter standing up and pulling on his hair. I freeze looking to Carter who looks a little shocked himself
"So you are her mate"
I ask breathless
"Yes I'm her mate! Is it not obvious? Who else would graduate school early and refuse a scholarship to the best medical school in the world to become a surgeon and instead become a 6 year olds bodyguard. Ofcourse she's my mate and I'm already fucking losing her and now I lose her earlier then expected"
He falls on his ass and he sobs into his hand crying his little heart out. Carter's own tears were streaming down his face as I grab them both and think of the party and suddenly we appear back. I look around to find someone useful
"Daniel go get a sledgehammer and get the concrete of his feet"
"When the fuck did that happen?"
He asks, turning and running away
"We will talk later just go. mum, dads any word?"
Mum looks past me to Gerald who is still sobbing but he's now up waiting for instructions.
"One of the kids seen her leave with a white haired woman"
"That old hag is going to pay for this"
I tell her through gritted teeth
"Where did they go?"
Carter asks
"The forest, we have all guards on both borders on high alert and we have people sweeping the area, is he her mate?"
"Yes he is"
I answer rubbing my temples as panic start to set in
"Chill, find her first panic after, don't even think of her, just think of finding her"
Cleo says trying to calm me, She was right I nod as mum goes to Geralds side
"Can you feel her Gerald, it will feel like a tug on your heart leading you to her"
He blinks rapidly as Daniel smashes the concrete from Carter's feet as Gerald's head snaps up and he takes off towards the forest.
"I feel her, this way I feel her this way"
He takes off towards my parents old house, and towards the forest but he stops at the back and he looks around frantically
"What is it?"
Carter asks him
"Down, it's telling me to go down but where I don't know"
"The tunnels"
I snap running to Luke's entrance and down to the small apartment below. Carter pulls the Matt back and then I see that the lock had been broken. I try to open it but it was jammed with something so I push my power from my hands and into the lock and something clatters to the floor beneath us, Carter lifts the lid and the place is already lite up with lights. Someone had definitely been in here. I jump down and wait for Carter, he takes my hand and pulls me along as mum, dads, Gerald and daniel follow us
"Dad go back and get the car, meet us at the entrance"
So dads and mum turn back as we take of running towards the end, it takes around 15 minutes to get to the end of the tunnel and as we come out Gerald runs ahead down a dirt road
"It's this way"
We run in that direction and soon dads pull up in the jeep and we hop in. My stomach flipped as her little face flashed through my head in repeat.
Carter punches the seat in front of him in frustration, he was unable to see the visions of the witches using dark magic. I decided to pull on the darkness around me, accepting it and filtering it, connecting with each story and using my primordial side to feel for her.
I could close my eyes in a crowded room and use my primordial side to find her without a bother because she felt so different to other people so every peace of darkness I filter I feel for her, I feel for the old whence that stole her from me and I hope I get to send the bitch to hell.
It took a while but suddenly I could feel her, I used the shadows and looked into the memories they held within them and what I see almost makes me feel sick. I become the aura and darkness and I watch for my girl

She's in a cage with her legs to her chest, terrified as she watches 3 people around her in a car. The old hag was one of them and the other to my shock was the primordial alpha and another I did not know but it was clear he was a witch. a witch of the darkest kind.
"Is the cage really necessary! She's a kid? She doesn't need to be locked up like that she's not a dog"
The witch snaps as I look out for street signs. Anything.
"Not to me she's not, to me she's a sacrifice and nothing more"
The man glares at the old hag
"You didn't fucking tell me you are going to sacrifice her! I said I would help but I didn't sign up for this!"
He snaps, turning to look at the old hag
"You didn't sign up for anything, it was your fathers debt so fucking shut up and deal with it!"
They continue to bitch back and forth As I move around the car looking for anything significant, adlais eyes land on me, she watches me and smiles waving at me. Her body relaxes considerably as I move towards her, I surround her swirling around and she giggles
"What's she laughing at"
The witch asks
"I don't know"
The hag answers, I continue to swirl around her as the man that used the dark magic watches her with interest. I growl and pull on his aura. He notices immediately then his eyes widen and he gasp sitting back.
"Stop the car"
