    "Yep and I don't think she should stay here"
   
    I go to him as he turns in his chair so I can sit on his knee.
   
    "Maybe so but how do we get rid of her?"
   
    "We wait and see what Jesus is up to with this witch then we tell her to leave or we send her to live with mum and dad"
   
    I lean in and kiss him
   
    "Perfect"
   
    I whisper, he pushes forward kissing me again, I moan as his tongue softly prods at my lips so I open my mouth and he deepens it, kissing me softly as his fingers tangle in my hair.

    Mum calls us for dinner as movie ends just as Adlais belly growls loudly
   
    "Oh my gosh that was nosey, are you hungry princess?"
   
    Gerald teases her, tickling her and making her jump around and giggle. She had cheered up completely since having a movie day and was now back to her old self.
   
    "Stop your gonna make me Pee myself"
   
    Gerald chuckles standing up and turning around so she jumps on his back for a piggy back ride and he runs from the room with her on his back giggling like crazy.
   
    "I've got to admit he does make her happy"
   
    Carter says quietly, I grin at him.
   
    "Good, because he's not going anywhere so you might as well just accept him"
   
    "I know, it's just difficult to see that sometimes"
   
    He kisses my hand then stands up and pulls me to my feet and we head upstairs for dinner. Adlai was setting the table as we sat down, Carter pulls me onto his knee as Gerald sits on our other side. Bella comes in from outside and skips over taking the seat beside Gerald, Adlai glares at her as Bella looks at Gerald fluttering her eyelashes.
   
    Cain was growling at her disrespect in Carter's head, his grip on me tightens in annoyance as I study the room trying to keep up.
   
    "Well done Adlai, iv no cash but I'll give you double tomorrow"
   
    Dad kisses her head and she grins coming to geralds side and sitting on his knee. I could feel Carter's amusement at our 7 year old staking her claim on her mate.
   
    Cleo and Cain laugh hysterically in our heads. Geralds grin grew as mum watched the room. She takes her seat as dads bring the food to the table and we pile food on our plates.
   
    "There isn't much room, why don't you sit on a chair Adlai?"
   
    Bella tells her filling her plate and setting it to the side because it was getting a little crowded here. Adlai looks to me.
   
    "Well your actually sitting on her seat, she's on my knee because she didn't want to be rude and tell you to move over"
   
    Gerald tells her matter of factly, Carter freezes slightly and he sends a glare to Bella who was sitting there with her face screwed up.
   
    "Well there is plenty of room, why not just sit somewhere else"
   
   
   Mum frowns at her looking between us all
   
    "Or you could sit somewhere else"
   
    Gerald tells her, she looks hurt by this but also thick. If it wasn't my daughter getting hurt I would find the entire thing amusing.
   
    "Why would I?"
   
    We were all glued to them, our heads snapping from one to the other.
   
    "You're the one complaining that there isn't enough room and you're trying to make my mate move when she always sits beside me. If you have an issue with room you can move but my mate doesn't need to move unless it's to sit on her chair"
   
    Adlai grins as she takes a bite of food, obviously listening.
   
    "Your MATE is 7 years old, she's not technically your mate yet"
   
    We all freeze and my face falls, that was outright disrespectful. Gerald grabs his shirt and pulls it to the side to show his mark.
   
    "She might only be 7 but she is my mate. She is my best friend, my little sister, my future Luna, she takes priority over everyone and everything else so i like her to sit by my side, if that seat isn't available she will sit on my knee, if you don't like that then leave"
   
    He says firmly, her jaw drops as she studies the mark on his neck, Carter went from a little stiff to stiff as a board, she obviously thought something she shouldn't have. Mum and dads smile at Gerald, damn I think even carter was smiling at Gerald.
   
    "And as future alpha you should respect what he says in our house"
   
    Carter finishes shocking everyone including Adlai, mum grins at him as dads looked shocked. That's the first time he has ever given him any credit.
   
    Gerald looks almost choked up a little. He nods to carter smiling slightly. Bella pushes her plate to the other side of the table and hops a few seats with scowl on her face, Adlai hops onto the chair beside him and she continues to eat but the happiness is just radiating off her.
   
    We all eat awkwardly for a little while until mum clears her throat
   
    "So how is my table coming along?"
   
    I grin at her change of topic
   
    "It's drying, we just need legs for it, iv seen some online but I'm not so sure they will match"
   
    "There is a table in town and I love the legs so much"
   
    Mum tells me, she pulls out her phone and hands it over to me. I was pleasantly surprised by them. Mum's house was decorated similar to mine but hers is bigger and her colour scheme was navy, natural wood stained dark and white marble. The legs were thick wooden planks the same colour as the table top, they were criss crossed and they would definitely work
   
    "I love them, they would be perfect. I'll order them tomorrow"
   
    I hand the phone to dads who want to see as well they agree with me.
   
    "What else needs to be done?"
   
    Mum asks
   
    "Just the finishing touches, waiting for fabric from Africa and dishes and plates to match them. Just little things but if all goes well you will be in within the week"
   
    Mum nods her head then smirks
   
    "The boys will move back in here then, Bella you can come stay with us because your mum and dad don't want you living with unmated men"
   
    I smile looking to my plate but I watch her reaction, she screws up her nose
   
    "Why it's not like I'm going to sleep with them"
   
    Carter growls dropping his fork on the plate and he glares at her
   
    "Please watch what you say in front of Adlai"
   
    "Sorry I forgot"
   
    She snaps childishly, Dads were also glaring at her
   
    "Anyway it's not like I'm going to do that"
   
    Mum rolls her eyes
   
    "It doesn't matter and if it were Carly and she hadn't a mate she wouldn't live with any either so you can stay but you follow the rules. That was the deal"
   
    She huffs playing with her food
   
    "Fine I'll stay with you guys but after going to the meeting with the witch I'm going to stay at penny's"
   
    I roll my eyes, Of Course she is. Doesn't get what she wants so she moves on, I had to say I was a little glad. I'm excited to get my house back and I don't want the boys to move back in but I'd rather them than Bella flirting with my daughter's mate.
   
    If I had it my way it would be just me, Carter, Adlai and Gerald living here. I'd love for my parents to stay too but they have their lives to live and we have ours and realistically we will be there for every meal anyway.
