    "I missed you too, is this everything?"
   
    I ask looking at their small overnight bags, she nods her head taking my hand, grandad takes the other and Adlai touches me too and suddenly we reappear back at home in mum's house. I lift Adlai up onto my hip
   
    "We will see you guys in around an hour, we need to go get ready"
   
    "See you then, thanks for the lift"
   
    They call as I zap us back home into adlais room.
   
    "Now what are you going to wear"
   
    I ask her, setting her on her feet, she runs into the walk-in and pulls out a pink T-shirt dress with black leggings
   
    "What about this?"
   
    "Pretty"
   
    I tell her choosing shoes and laying them on her bed
   
    "You get dressed and I'll get dressed then I'll do our hairs ok?"
   
    "Thank you mummy"
   
    I wear a dark navy leggings dress and navy converse so I match with my mini me. I go all out with her hair, adding extra ribbons and plaiting it into 2 plaits on the side of her head, Carter stops in to say hey before he changes for the party too.
   
    I pull half of my hair up into a messy bun and let the rest fall down and around my shoulders naturally. When we are done we wait for the boys in the kitchen, Gerald goes straight up to Adlai scooping her up and kissing her cheek.
   
    "You look so beautiful princess"
   
    "Thank you, me and mummy match"
   
    She tells him proudly as carter grabs me and he pulls me into his embrace kissing my lips gently.
   
    "You look amazing"
   
    I groan as he pulls away pouting, I'd rather stay home with him, he peeks my lips gently a smile playing on his face.
   
    "Come on we are going to be late"
   
    He tells me, I nod my head and we leave going to our parents house to greet the newest members of our family.
   
    As we arrive popa drake pulls us into dads office and he hands Gerald an envelope, he frowns taking it
   
    "What's this?"
   
    "Your trust fund information and the numbers to call when you want to stay in one of the family homes"
   
    His jaw drops and he tries to hand it back
   
    "I don't need this, give it to someone else"
   
    Grandpa rolls his eyes and he pushes it back to his chest
   
    "Just take it, if you don't use it your kids can one day. Everyone who joins the family gets a peace of the pie so take the information and use it to spoil Adlai or help your family out or do whatever but it's yours now, it's already in your name so suck it up"
   
    "Just take it, it could come in handy"
   
    Carter tells him, he nods feeling extremely awkward so I pat his shoulder and I secretly let him relax at the idea of becoming extremely rich, it's a very overwhelming feeling so helping him relax worked well as he pulls pops into a hug shocking him, Carter smirks at me and I try not to giggle at the fact I made him just a little too relaxed for his own good. Mum opens the door
   
    "Gerald your family is here"
   
    He nods, pushing the envelope into his back pocket and he leaves the room, we follow him out and Adlai runs to him, he picks her up, setting her on his hip as she hides her face in his shoulder.
   
    "Everyone this is my parents bill and Avery, and my brother Micheal"
   
    His mum was small, she had bright blonde hair and amazing big round eyes, her nose was small and straight and in perfect proportion to her face, her lips were thin and small matching her size. She wore a yellow summer dress and flat brown sandals
   
    His father looked like Gerald, talks like him as well as being well built, his hair was brown, his skin tan and his eyes green, his little brother was similar but his eyes were grey/blue instead of green. They were definitely a handsome family.
   
    "You all know the Luna's and alphas but this is Luna Lucy's parents Keagen and James and there parents drake and lilly And this one right here is my Adlai"
   
    He tells them hugging her from side to side, she pushes her face out and smiles at them, she wags her fingers at his brother who looks to be around 15 or so.
   
    "Please call us Lucy, jaxon and Scott"
   
    Mum tells them shaking all their hands, Carter does not do first name bases with anyone that doesn't live in our house or come from our family, it's how he separates us from the pack and copes with people in general.
   
    "Thanks so much for having us, it's a pleasure so thanks for including us"
   
    "It's no problem, Gerald's family now so it's only fair that your all welcome here"
   
    Carter tells them, their eyes widen a little in shock, Carter is feared by our pack, people hate to be around him, they hate the aura that he gives off.
   
    "We really appreciate that alpha, we really do and just so you know, your all also welcome into our home too and you as well little princess"
   
    Bill answers, patting Adlais back, she smiles at him, she liked his parents a lot but she was nervous to meet his brother.
   
    "Come on let's have drinks on the deck while we wait for dinner"
   
    Dad takes over leading us outside
   
    "You have a beautiful home here"
   
    Bill tells dad, they look to me proudly
   
    "Carly actually designed it, drew up the plans and ran the construction team for both of our houses and all the new houses that are being built right now"
   
    I pour both me and Carter a whisky and I hand it to him
   
    "Really? That's very impressive Luna"
   
    "Thanks, I love it"
   
    I reply, taking a drink nervously, Carter pulls me onto his knee kissing my cheek and my body slowly starts to relax a little better.
   
    "Do you want a drink Gerald?"
   
    Avery asks him, he shakes his head
   
    "Nope, I don't drink on duty"
   
    She frowns at him
   
    "But your not on duty"
   
    Carter smirks taking a drink
   
    "I am, maybe I'm not meant to be, but I am and I'd rather be on duty and make sure she's safe"
   
    "So basically you have no life, you run around after a little girl all day everyday for no reason?"
   
    His brother snaps, surprising me, I watch as Geralds face goes to stone and he glared at his little brother.
   
    "That little girl is your future Luna so I'd talk about her with a little respect and no it's not no reason, she's very important and someone needs to protect her and I don't trust anyone but me. She's my mate and your future sister so I'd drop the Tude and start thinking before you open your gob and I'd like to add I had no life before Adlai, now I have the best life. All I knew of the world was training and books and that's no life, now I have a mate, I have a purpose so I won't judge you but you can't judge me!"
