  He tells the primordial
   
    "What? No they are to close"
   
    He snaps
   
    "Stop the fucking car right now"
   
    He roars
   
    "Why what is wrong?"
   
    The primordial snaps as the man watches Adlai, I go back to her but as I do I notice her eyes bleed black like Carter's does. As it happens
   
    "Stop the fucking car or she's going to kill us all"
   
    Suddenly her lips start to move and me the mist is swept into a small tornado, the temperature drops and the man starts to scream. The primordial hits the breaks and the cage goes flying, sending Adlai against the seat in front of her and she starts to cry.
   
    They didn't care though as they jump out and leave her as they did the male witch turns and takes the old wench by the throat
   
    "Why did you not tell me what she was! You stupid bitch she could have killed us all!"
   
    The primordial looks completely confused, the old hag was the same
   
    "What is she? I don't understand? I just thought she was a sick kid"
   
    The primordial asks
   
    "A sick kid, that's all you thought she was? And the fact that she can read the shadows? The fact that her eyes bleed black? That she can drop the temperature and pull on my soul! She's a fucking soul eater you dickwad. We need her out of the car and we need to go, YOU can get to them another way"
   
    The woman growls stomping forwards
   
    "What! No! We have them by the balls"
   
    He snorts sarcastically
   
    "No she has us by the balls! You want to get your power back fine! but you do it another way. I'm not risking her sucking in all my power and my life so you can get revenge because you fucked up. Get her out of the car NOW! We can get to them a better way!"
   
    The primordial throws the back door open and he catches the cage and he throws it out into a ditch,
    Adlai screams as she goes flying down a step ditch and into a forest below. She screams and cries as her brittle bones break.
   
    "What the fuck are you doing! I said get her out of the car not fucking hurt her!!!"
   
    The male witch growls, pushing the primordial against the car and taking him by the throat!
   
    "You said get her out! I fucking got her out! We need to go I can feel them close in"
   
    The witches jaw ticks as he steps back glaring at them
   
    "Fuck this and fuck you all! My debt is paid now piss off and never contact me again!"
   
    He steps back and he opens a portal, stepping through and leaving the other 2 shocked on the side of the road

    I pull out of the vision screaming
   
    "Babe it's ok, we will be there in less than 2 minutes"
   
    "But they.. they"
   
    I cry panicking as dad puts his foot down
   
    "What! What did they do Carly!"
   
    Gerald asks me, panicking. I look to him unable to comprehend what I just saw, what they did to her or what she even is. I look to Carter who looks more worried about me then he was about Adlai
   
    "I'm not but your white, like really really white I think you filtered to much at once"
   
   My hands were trembling, my teeth were chattering as I looked at him. He shook in front of me as my eyes shook affecting my vision and making it all blurry. My stomach felt like it was laid with lead. But as I try to breathe darkness takes over and I'm plunged into the abyss of the darkest part of my mind.

    Carter's POV
   
    Carly passes out in my arms, I squeak catching her before her head hits the car door and I hold her close to me.
   
    "Is she ok?"
   
    Dad asks from the front. I could feel her exhaustion but she was breathing steady and her heartbeat was strong.
   
    "Yeah I think she just took too much at one time she will be ok, are we close?"
   
    I ask dad as we pull into a woodland area and I knew we were close. I could now see everything that Carly could see so I knew where she was and I knew what they did to her and what they called her.
   
    I had no idea that she was anything but a normal girl, me and Carly checked several times and we had no idea what or how she contacted us in the first place.
   
    I kiss Carlys head and lay her on the seat so I could get Adlai, I was praying that they hadn't broken anything because that could send her to the grave a lot faster then it's meant to. I see the spot and jump forward
   
    "Stop she's here"
   
    Dad slams on the breaks so I catch Carly before she goes flying then I jump out of the car and I hear her crying. I run to her, my heart was racing and the sweat was dripping off me, my anxiety sending my body into chaos. I did not like not being in control, I did not like my girls getting hurt.
   
    "Adlai baby I'm here I'm coming"
   
    "Dadddy"
   
    She screams as I run down the hill and I find her in a damn dog cage covered in dirt and blood. I open the cage and go to grab her out but she screams in pain.
   
    "Awchhhhhhhh"
   
    She wails, my heart shatters
   
    "Ssssssh baby iv got to get you out, it's going to hurt but I need to get you out"
   
    "Adlai!"
   
    Gerald roars from behind me, she cries harder hearing his voice. I had an idea that they were mates but I never mentioned it because I didn't want to hurt him anymore then he was going to hurt. She's going to die and he will forever be alone and I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
   
    "She's here, come here baby"
   
    I open my arms and I try to pull her out but she screams in pain as Gerald lands beside us.
   
    "Shhh it's going to be ok Adlai just talk to me baby, talk to me and your daddy will pull you out"
   
    "Itttttt hurts, it hurts so badlyyyy"
   
    She wails as I find a clip and suddenly the side lifts off and then I find another and she falls into Geralds arms as I pull it the rest of the way. Her hair was caked in mud and blood, her arm was definitely broken and maybe her foot and leg to. I grab her and pull her into my chest as she screams in pain.
   
    "Dont fucking hurt her"
   
    Gerald snaps at me, I growl at him. I understand he was her mate but she was still my child and it's not like I want to hurt her.
   
    "I'm not trying to hurt her"
   
    He huffs walking beside me, pulling hair from her face and annoying me
   
    "Would you step back"
   
    I growl at him, he rolls his eyes at me and I swear I wish I had a hand to slap him. I'm his damn alpha, nobody but my family could roll their eyes at me, or shout at me.
   
    No correction only Carly, Adlai, Ashley and mum could shout at me the rest can fuck off especially this goon.
   
    "Your disrespect is really starting to piss me off kid"
   
    "Well at least I'm not about to blow up the world"
   
    I glare at him.
   
    "Little bastard."
   
    Cain growls in my head
   
    "I swear you better run when my hands are free"
   
    "Stop fighting, where is mummy. I sucked on her by accident I need to help her"
   
    That got both of our attention as we make it to the top of the hill
   
    "What do you mean baby?"
   
    I ask her as dad runs to us
   
    "A voice told me to suck in there souls but I took mummy's by accident and now I need to give it back"
   
    My walk turned into a run, I'm not sure what she is or what she does but I want Carlys soul whole thank you very much.
   
    "Is that why she's sleeping"
   
    "Yes"
