    "I'll make an honest try at going easy on him"
   
    "And I'll make sure I'm easy on him when he is too tough"
   
    Carly tells him, Jesus grins and steps back and disappears. Carly turns and pulls me in for a big hug, I lift her up and kiss her lips and sniff her mouth watering scent.
   
    "You smell so damn good"
   
    She whispers, I smile back
   
    "So do you"
   
    I kiss her again but she pulls back smiling
   
    "Let's go home and break the good news"

    Carlys POV
   
    I was getting my baby back, my baby was going to be alive. But I had so many questions about her birth parents that I needed to know going forward. But all of that didn't matter now, what matters is I'm getting my little girl back. I lean down and touch Gerald and hold Caden's hand and I think of us in our living room floor. Dad screams clutching his heart
   
    "Holy fuck Carly I nearly shit myself"
   
    Both me and Carter giggle at his face as he tries to catch his breath, mum looks at us funny
   
    "What happened to him and how are you laughing? You couldn't even walk an hour ago"
   
    I sigh shaking my head as I look down at him
   
    "He tried to kill Himself, but we had a visitor and we are getting her back"
   
    I tell them grinning, my family and grandparents and my great grandparents all stand up, they were all that were left.
   
    "What do you mean?"
   
    Lilly asks, her face is puffy and swollen up
   
    "It means that Jesus came to visit us and him and god are giving her back"
   
    Lilly, Keagens and mums eyes light up but Ashley steps forward
   
    "What's the catch?"
   
    I look to Carter but someone knocks the door and Ailm, deacon, Isla, Jake, arden and Fay walk in.
   
    "It's not so much a catch, her family line has a gift. It's a dangerous one, her wolf is a soul eater—"
   
    Dads entire body goes stiff as he gasp stepping forward
   
    "Like a real soul eater?"
   
    His eyes were wide as he asked us
   
    "Yes why?"
   
    I ask him he purges his lips, crossing his arms over his chest
   
    "I just know of the legends, usually they would either commit suicide on the eve of there 16th birthday, in some cases they were killed by the pack but in most sensible places they had a witch come in and lock out the wolf, lock out all the power that came with them. They would have mates but they would be human in all other ways"
   
    Everyone directs there attention back to us
   
    "Well Jesus knows that we can control her power, or sedate it. She will come back with her wolf, she will be wild but this will give her a chance to bond with her wolf so it won't take over. By the time she's the age to have a wolf she will be able to control the wolf and her powers. She's the last of her kind and one day she will have a job like Carly but both of us and Gerald will have the power to keep her on track. So not really a catch shes just our little girl"
   
   
   He tells them proudly but stills slightly and he growls turning around and glaring at isla and deacon.
   
    "What now?"
   
    Mum asks on guard, she steps up taking my hand and squeezing it.
   
    "Why don't you share your thoughts with the class"
   
    Carter snaps at them
   
    "If you would stay out of my head we wouldn't have a problem"
   
    Deacon tells him gritting his teeth
   
    "Yeah but you would still think it, still believe it? Still spread it. So go on, why don't you tell us all what your thinking about my 7 year old daughter!"
   
    Dads square there shoulders, there faces going hard
   
    "I just thought that If she's really capable of all that maybe she would be better of at peace instead of struggling through life"
   
    My stomach flops as bile rises up my throat
   
    "And..."
   
    Carter asks, I can feel his burning anger vibrating off him through the bond, just like mine as it quickly rises, Cleo coming to the surface. In Fact everyone around me had a burning anger towards them.
   
    "And is it really wise to let someone who nearly blew up the world raise a girl who can also blow up the world"
   
    I growl stepping towards him but mum pushes me to the side and she runs using her powers to drop deacon but as he falls she knees him in the balls and catches him around the throat
   
    "You would be wise to watch your damn mind and mouth in my house, my son is the best damn father I have ever came across, he would put you to shame. Get out and don't come back"
   
    I was frozen in place as mum fucks him across the floor and towards the door.
   
    "Leave NOW"
   
    Mum tells them all, everyone was in shock, they didn't know where to look or what to do, Ailm goes to deacon's side and she pulls him off the floor and she looks back at mum
   
    "I'm so—-"
   
    "Save it for when I'm capable of forgiving this. But that day is not today"
   
    Mum pats my shoulder and she turns me away from them and leads me out the back, she looks to dads
   
    "Put Gerald on the sofa, he's too tired to wake yet"
   
    Fay, Ashley and Carter follow me outside and they hand me a smoke, I light it up and look to mum
   
    "I'm sorry mum"
   
    "What in the hell would you be sorry for? She's a 7 year old girl. She's our pride and fucking joy and to think that anyone would think so little of her, especially her own fucking family. It just infuriates me and I won't allow it in my pack, Jesus himself said that you can do this, nobody has a right to argue with that."
   
    Mum rants and Ashley nods
   
    "Yeah you would think they should be more fucking understanding when they raised penny. That mouth alone could put a pack to war"
   
    "Agreed"
   
    Fay adds lighting a smoke and taking a pull
   
    "I bet when Lilly took on caden and Baylee they thought shit these kids could end the world and they could but they didn't, then how many special kids have been brought into this family, all of them could make a dent in the surface of the planet, some more then others but because we raise them right and love them right they all choose not to"
   
    Then she smirks
   
    "Well with the exception of—"
   
    "—say it and I'll drop kick you like mum did deacon"
   
    Carter snaps making us all laugh, then he pulls me tight against his chest and he kisses my cheek and throat and he sniffs my scent, his body relaxes considerably
   
    "And for the record I'd probably do it again if anyone killed her"
   
    I smirk rubbing my shoulders against him
   
    "Well we won't have that problem anymore, it's you and me for good"
   
    He continues to kiss and suck my neck, I close my legs together as for the first time in a week I feel arousal flood through my body and the bond.
   
    Carter chuckles and pulls back resting his head on my shoulder. As we sit there we have easy conversation until we hear a commotion inside and suddenly carter basically throws me of his knee
   
    "Holy fucking shit"
   
    He screams, I jump of my knees to follow him as he burst through the door only to find a grey and white wolf growling in the corner of the room. Cornered by dads, the spot where adlais body was was empty.
   
    "Hey baby girl, you wanna come say hey to daddy?"
   
    Carter asks kneeling in front of her, she watches him carefully then her nose goes into the air and her eyes land on Gerald who's still sleeping and she whimpers and whines so I move to him and let his body wake up but as I do she growls at me making carter laugh
   
    "Your mummy won't hurt him, she's just waking him up so you can meet him properly"
   
    As I wake him up I ask his body to stay calm, I tell him she's alive and she needs to stay calm. I'll fill him in on the rest later. His eyes snap open and he jumps up looking around the room
   
    "Where is sh—-"
   
    He gasps looking at her, he opens his arms out
   
    "Come here, I missed you so badly, nobody will hurt you I promise"
