"Mum dad theres something I need to tell you"Antonio said. "Okay son"Ramon said. "Can we go outside the room I don't want to scare Louie"Antonio said. "Louie we'll be right back"Camilla and Ramon both say. "Okay"Louie said. As Antonio Ramon and Camilla all walk out the room and they sit down as Antonio prepares himself to tell his parents that Laura has died. "What couldn't you tell us in the room and why are the kids crying"Ramon asks. "Theres no easy way to tell you this so I'm just going to come out with it Laura has died from her injuries yesterday at 16:45"Antonio said. "OMG son"Camilla said. "She died from a cardiac arrest"Antonio said. "We're both here for you all and I'm not being funny but Gabby doesn't want Louie left on his own"Camilla and Ramon both say. "Thanks mom and dad"Antonio said.
While Antonio is talking to his parents Gabby walks back upstairs carrying a clean Andrea to sit back with husband Matt brother in law Sean and Jim Jordan. As Gabby approaches the door she walks n and passes Matt Andrea. "Here's my girl all clean I bet"Matt said. "Yes she is and hows Jim doing"Gabby asks. "His fingers have been tingling he fell asleep 30 minutes ago but before that he's complaining of being sick"Matt said. "Thats awful babe"Gabby said. Now that the clock now reads 12pm as Matt carries Andrea downstairs as it's his turn to see son Louie so as he heads down Jim wakes up and Sean notices that he's about to be sick.
"Hang on Jim"Sean says. As Sean grabs the plastic container and he holds it as Jim being sick in it twice within 10 minutes of each other and once Jim's finished being sick Doctor Callahan walks i t check on how his patient his doing. "How's Jim doing"Doctor asks. "He's terrible doctor he's just been sick twice and he can't keep anything down"Sean says. "Thats one of many side effects that chemotherapy does"Doctor says. "Is there anything that Jim can have during chemotherapy"Sean asks. "There is something that I can give him"Doctor said. "Will it work"Sean asks. "Jim I'm going to administer 0.10mg of Ondansetron to see how you get on as it will help you with the nausea"Doctor said as Matt arrives at Louie's bedside. "Louie its daddy here"Matt said. "Daddy"Louie said. "Yes buddy"Matt said.
"Uncle Matt can I go and see my mom please"Violet asks. "Yes as long as you go there and stay there til meld and Auntie Gabby collects you later"Matt said. "Yes Uncle Matt and thanks Brett for bringing me in"Violet said. As Violet leaves the ICU and. heads to see her mom Matt talks to Brett and Antonio as Ramon and Camilla are playing with Louie while Eva and Diego are talking amongst themselves. "Brett Antonio how's Eva and Diego doing since this morning"Matt asks. "It's still early to say but we're going home once we've been to the shops"Antonio said. "Ahh"Matt says. "I've got to give them time to grieve"Antonio said. Thats right Antonio I've been through it with Hallie Andy and Shay and believe it's not a good experience"Matt said.
"I haven't even told Voight and the team yet"Antonio said. "When does he think you were going back to work"Matt asks. "Today I think it was"Antonio said. "It's okay if you need to go we understand"Matt said. "Thanks Matt"Antonio said. "It's okay and Brett make sure you look out for Eva and Diego"Matt asks. "Don't worry Matt I'm here for them"Brett says. "Kids were leaving"Antonio said. "Yes dad"they both say. "Say goodbye to your cousin"Brett says. "Goodbye Louie love you"Diego and Eva both say. "Love you all"Louie said. As Brett and Antonio leave the hospital with Eva and Diego and drive to the food mall to stock up on supplies while Violet is with her mum and nan. "Hello mom I missed you this morning"Violet said.
Sean's POV
As I watch my step daughters's dad being sick as I held the container for him I couldn't myself to think how Violet will react to when her dad goes home with her Auntie Gabby and Uncle Matt. I'm going out of my mind with worry as my fiance doesn't need this stress at all.
Matt is on his way back upstairs with Andrea as she's due for her next feed before they leave the hospital with Jim Jordan. "Hello babe how's Jim been feeling since I took a break"Matt asks. "Not so good baby he's been sick twice and now he's exhausted"Gabby says. "Violet's with Christie"Matt said. "I'll sit in the back with the kids"Gabby says. "Thats a good idea love"Matt said as Jim reads his leaflets that was given too him by his Cancer Doctor. "Are you okay Jim"Gabby asks. "I'll be okay theres just a lot to take in"Jim says. "I know it's hard remembering everything"Gabby says. "How's Violet going to take the news about how my treatment woks and understand the medical jargon"Jim asks. "Don't worry Jim I'll explain it all to Violet from a Paramedic way"Gabby said. "Thanks"Jim said as Doctor Callahan walks in. "Your first day of chemotherapy is done and I'm pleased to say that you can go home"Doctor Callahan said.
"Let's get you home and settled in"Matt said. "Yes please"Jim says. As Jim is helped by Matt and Sean as Gabby gathers Andrea by putting her in her car seat and Jim's stuff for what he needs at home. "Everything's ready we can leave now babe Gabby said. "I'll help you Matt with getting Jim in the car"Sean said. "Thanks Sean"Matt said. "Matt you and Sean get Jim to the car while I go and get Violet"Gabby said. "Thats a good idea babe"Matt said. As Matt and Sean take Jim to the car as Gabby pushes Andrea and goes to the room to get Violet. "Hi Christie we'll talk later Violet we've got to go"Gabby said as they left Christie and Nancy for the day. A few moments later as everyone is buckle in and Matt can drive home. "Uncle Matt why doesn't dad look well"Violet asks as Matt pulls up at the house 30 minutes later...
