As Violet is now outside the ER and as Jim notices that it's his daughter. "Dad"Violet said. "Violet is that really you"Jim asks. "Yes it's me dad"Violet said. "Why are you out here on your own or do they know your out here"Jim says. "Anyway dad what are you doing here at the hospital"Violet asks while back in the ICU room Gabby and Matt have come out of the restroom with a clean Andrea and they see that Violet is not around. "Stella Kelly did Violet say anything to you"Matt says. "Sorry guys we didn't even notice that she was gone til now"Kelly said. "Thats okay"Gabby said. "Whose cell phone is this"Stella asks. "It's Violet's"Gabby and Matt both say. "Why don't you leave Andrea here and go after her"Stella said. "Where will she be tho"Matt says. "Where was she the last time"Kelly said. "Outside the front of the hospital by the ER doors"Gabby says.
"I'll take her from you Gabby"Kelly says. "Yes please Kelly"Gabby said. As Gabby hands over Andrea to her Uncle they both head outside at the front of the ER doors and within minutes they arrive and Gabby notices that Violet is talking to someone. "Matt theres Violet"Gabby said. "I know exactly who that is"Matt said. "Who is it babe"Gabby asks. "It's my sister's ex"Matt said. "You mean Jim"Gabby said. "Yes baby"Matt said. As Gabby and Matt walk over to Jim and Violet and. "Violet can you go back inside please' at said. "We'll be following you in Violet"Gabby said. "Okay Uncle Matt"Violet said. "Hope to see you soon Violet"Jim said. "What about tomorrow here outside the hospital in the morning"Violet said.
Now that Violet has gone back inside Matt as some words for his etc brother-in-law. "Why did you have to send Violet back inside like that"Jim says. "Violet's in our care and she's not allowed to talk to you"Matt says as Jim collapses in pain. "You can't fool us Jim"Gabby said. As Jim fell to the ground holding his waist as he tries to get back up Matt and Gabby suddenly realises something. "Why should we give you another chance Jim with Violet"Matt asks. "I'm going to tell you both something"Jim says. "What have you got to tell us"Gabby says. "I've told this to Christie and Sean earlier on"Jim says. "What did you tell my sister and brother law"Matt says. "I've got Kidney Cancer"Jim says
"Does Violet know anything Jim"Gabby asks. "She doesn't suspect anything yet"Jim says. "She's already going through a lot she won't be able to cope with this about her dad"Matt said. "Have you had your biopsy today Jim"Gabby asks. "Yes it was only 2 hours ago that I had the procedure done and I'm in pain"Jim says. "I can't imagine. What you're going through Jim"Gabby said. "Thanks Gabby"Jim says. "You a see Violet out here tomorrow at 9:30am on one condition tho"Matt says. "What's the condition Matt"Jim says. "You turn up on time and don't tell her about your Cancer yet"Matt said. "I can do that Matt anyway I've got a report that I've got to type up before my treatment officially begins"Jim says. "We better be going back inside Violet will be wondering where we both are"Gabby and Matt both say.
As Jim drives back to the hotel only 2 1/2 hours since he had his biopsy done on both of his kidney's to get the full extent of his Cancer when he ran into Matt and Gabby cos I was talking to my daughter. "I wonder if Jim's told anyone else"Gabby said. "Someone going through Cancer alone is nota good thing as I've read that if Jim does this alone it makes people depressed"Matt said. "I've read that too"Gabby said. "How can we keep this from Violet Gabby"Matt said. "I'm not sure but I know that we can't be sad around her no matter what"Gabby said as the parents contemplate life for Violet if her dad dies from this terrible disease...
