As Doctor Callahan walks in the room pushing Christie in. "Jim your doctor told me that you're scared and frightened about something or someone"Christie asks. "I know that we've had our differences in the past but right now it's not about the two of us"Christie said. "It's about Violet I'm worried about"Jim says. "What about Violet Jim"Christie says. "I think Violet knows that we're all keeping quiet about something"Jim says. "What do you think we should do then Jim"Christie asks. "I'm saying that I can't do this anymore I want to spend the rest of my life able to enjoy my life with Violet"Jim says. "Are you saying that you want to stop chemotherapy"Sean says. "Jim don't have anything in stone til Matt and Gabby get back here"Christie says. "Okay"Jim says.
Back in Wisconsin Gabby gets a message from Lindsay. "Hello Gabby just to let you know we're all booked into the hotel"Lindsay said. "We're all going to back to the house we can come and get you all and you can follow us back"Gabby says "Thats a good idea I'll drive us all there"Lindsay says. "We're about 20 minutes away"Gabby says. "Halstead Gabby and Matt are on their way to lead us to Laura's family home"Lindsay said as Platt Olinsky and Voight get the message from Lindsay. "Why don't we all go outside and sit in the fresh air and what for the Casey's"Voight said. "Thats a good idea"Platt says.
While Halstead Voight Lindsay Olinsky and Platt are waiting for Gabby and Matt to arrive back in Chicago Nancy's physiotherapist has arrived to do some memory test in the room. "Hello Nancy I'm going to put a set of six pics what I would like you to do is write down what each one is then I'm gonna put down a set of six colours for you to name followed by a set of six shapes"Doctor Huger said. "Okay doc I'll give it a go"Nancy said. As Doctor Huger puts down the first six pictures in front of Nancy and as she picks up the pen she grabs hold of it and she writes down three of the items correctly and she can't remember the other three items. "Thats okay let's move onto the colours now Nancy"Dr Huger says.
"Theres six colours I want you to name please"Dr Huger asks. "I'll have a go"Nancy said. "Take your time Nancy"Doctor Huger says. While Nancy is trying hard at her physio session across the hospital in Louie's room Doctor Rhodes has come in with some crutches as his physiotherapist follows in. "Hello you must be Louie Casey"Doctor Carolyn Simmonds said. "Yes"Louie said. "You must be Gabriella Louie's mom"Simmonds asks. "My name is Cindy Herman and this is my husband Christopher"Cindy says. "Sorry for assuming before I got all the facts"Dr Simmonds says. "Thats okay"Cindy says. "I work with his dad"Herman said. "I'll begin"Doctor Simmonds says. "Is it okay if I record this"Cindy asks. "Go ahead I don't mind"Doctor Simmonds says.
As Louie Casey is doing his first physiotherapy as Cindy Herman is recording it while back in Wisconsin everyone as arrived at Laura's family home who are Lance Lorna Brett Antonio Eva Diego Violet Gabby Matt Stella Kelly Voight Lindsay Halstead Camilla Ramon Olinsky and Platt handed all got together and will be going out later for a pre funeral meal as Andrea's fas asleep. "What time are we going out"Gabby asks. "Meals booked 6pm"Lance said. "Thats okay we understand"Voight said. "I've just got to go and feed Andrea and change her diaper give me 10 minutes or so"Gabby said. "Thats okay"Lorna says.
"Can I come with you please Gabby"Lindsay asks. "Of course you can come with me is there something you want to talk to me about Lindsay"Gabby asks. "Yes please"Lindsay says. "Let's go to our room Lindsay"Gabby says. As Gabby picks up Andrea from her car seat and with Lindsay they walk to the room once they're in there Gabby takes her top off and straight away Andrea starts feeding from her mommy's breast and. "Gabby what u two talk about can we keep it between us two please"Lindsay asks. "No problem Lindsay"Gabby says. "Before you had Andrea how did you feel after each time you found out that the test came back negative"Lindsay says. "It was hard on the both of us not just myself"Gabby says. "How did you cope"Lindsay asks.
"Well just say that I was angry frustrated and annoyed as I couldn't do anything to help the process"Gabby said. "What did you do Gabby"Lindsay asks. "We just didn't think about it and I became pregnant with our daughter Andrea"Gabby said. "Thanks Gabby"Lindsay said. "Lindsay would you like to change her diaper when she's finished eating"Gabby asks. "I'd love to Gabby"Lindsay says. As Gabby finishes breastfeeding Andrea Lindsay gets to change Andrea's diaper while Lance Lorna Brett Kelly Antonio Stella Matt Voight Halstead Platt and Olinsky are having a drink while talking while Eva Diego and Violet are inside talking about Laura and Jim.
Back in Chicago over at the Boden household the front door goes and it's Kim Burgess and Adam Ruzek. "Hello Wallace can we come in please"Ruzek asks. "Course you can come in guys"Boden says. As Kim Burgess and Adam Ruzek walk through the house as Boden is about to close the door behind him Donna and Terrance walks in and Donna wants to know whats going on. "Why don't you take a seat"Boden says. "Terrance can you go to your room please"Donna says. "Yes mommy"Terrance says. As Terrance goes to his room Donna Boden speaks up. "What's going on guys"Donna asks.
"We've come with good news Donna"Burgess said. "We've been told to come and give you these"Ruzek said. "What are they"Donna asks. "Why don't you take a look guys"Burgess says. As Donna picks up the box Wallace opens it and takes out a letter which reads. "To everyone who can't make my funeral can have these little up from the time of my funeral please look after every single one and raise a glass when you're off shift by having a drink as you think off my family as they get ready to bury me. Thanks love Laura" "Thanks Burgess and Ruzek for dropping these candles off here for tomorrow"Boden says. "You're welcome Boden"Ruzek says. "Wallace who's Laura"Donna asks.
"Donna Laura Dawson was Gabby's sister-in-law and Antonio's wife"Boden says. "I remember now mother to Eva and Diego"Donna says. "Thats correct love"Boden says. We'll be off now guys"Burgess says. "We'll see you guys around"Boden said. "Take care of yourselves"Ruzek said. "We will"Donna says. As Burgess and Ruzek leave the Boden house and head back to work Donna gets on with prepping the tea while Chief plays with his son while Cindy Herman is recording Louie doing his physiotherapy. "Look at me mommy and daddy"Louie said. "Louie remember what you've been told"Herman says. "Yes"Louie said.
Cindy's POV
As I hold my cell phone and record our dear friends 4 year old son going through his first physiotherapy after having surgery to repair the damaged leg I couldn't help it as I'm tensing this not just with my husband Christopher but with our five kids too. "I'm soo happy that I get to be apart of Louie's life as both of his parents work together with my husband Christopher as I consider Louie as a nephew let alone were not blood related. "Christopher why don't you say something to Louie to encourage him"Cindy says. "Sure babe"Herman says.
Christopher Herman's POV
As I watch my wife record our good friend's 4 year old son Louie I call out. "Louie just look at us and walk straight ahead"Herman said. "Chris"Louie said "I'm soo happy that Louie. Is doing his first session since Stella Kelly and Brett found him at Firehouse 51 after finding him badly bruised and his left leg broken in two places. "Wow Louie this is good your mummy and daddy will be proud of you"Herman says. "Yes"Louie said.
Across the hospital and upstairs in the Cancer Ward Jim Jordan's temperature is rising which is very worrying for his doctor as well as his next of kin's as Doctor Callahan walks in Sean speaks up. "Doctor he's been sick all day"Sean says. "I know thats why I spoke to Sharon Goodwin and we've decided to cut Jim's chemo session at this moment half an hour before his end time and also do a MRI Scan tonight to see what affect Jims had"Callahan says. "What time's his scan"Sean asks. "We can't say a time but it will definitely be before 9pm"Callahan says. "I'll be just downstairs updating Christie and Nancy then I should be straight back here"Sean says. "Take your time as Jims fast a sleep at the moment"Doctor Callahan says.
"Can you stay with him while I go downstairs"Sean asks. "Of course I've got to disconnect Jim I'll wait here til you get back"Doctor Callahan says. "Thanks Doctor"Sean said. As Sean leaves Jim's room and he heads downstairs to see his fiance and mother-in-law to be Nancy while Jim gets disconnected from everything while back in Wisconsin as Andrea is strapped in her car seat as Matt Gabby Violet Eva Diego Antonio Brett Stella Kelly Ramon Camilla Lance Lorna Voight Halstead Lindsay Platt and Olinsky all get i there cars and make the journey from the house to the restaurant.
