Its now June the 20th and as Christie's now 22 weeks and 2 days pregnant and with the clock reading 7am as Christie's trying to to get a lie in as much as she can as her fiance Sean is lying next to her and the moment is about to happen. As Christie nudges Sean who's just woken up. "Love whats wrong"Sean asks. "Nothings wrong"Christie says. "Whats up then love"Sean asks. "Give me your hand please"Christie asks. As Christie takes her fiancés hand and places them down on her pregnant stomach and the moment that the magical happens. As there unborn twins Are kicking for the first time for daddy and. "Sweetie is that what I think that was"Sean says. "Yes love you're not imagining it"Christie says. As Sean is experiencing one of wonderful things that a dad to be can experience so hew ants to document everything down.
"What's do you think love"Christie asks. "You mean the kicking"Sean asks. "Yes love our twins"Christie says. "It's magical as theres no words to describe the very first moment you feel your unborn twins kick for the very first time"Sean says. "I know what you mean Sean as it's a sign that they're doing just fine"Christie says. "Can you tell me what it was like when you was pregnant with Violet"Sean asks as he keeps his hands firmly on his fiancé's stomach. "As Violet was a singleton pregnancy and as she was small everything was different to this pregnancy"Christie says. "Go ahead love"Sean asks. "My bump was small all the way through the pregnancy I didn't feel her kick til much later on during my second trimester and my food cravings were out of this world"Christie says. "What about Jim what was he like"Sean asks. "I'll tell you later another time"Christie says. "Okay love"Sean says. "You can kiss them and talk to them before you make us all 3 breakfast"Christie says. "I'll just give them a kiss first"Sean says.
As Sean Miller goes down the bed while still having his hands on her massive pregnancy belly and as he gets to the level he plants a massive kiss and. "That was lovely"Christie says. "Why don't I go and make us breakfast, what do you fancy out eat"Sean asks. "Have we got any eggs"Christie asks. "I think we have I'll go and check"Sean says. As Sean goes to the kitchen to make the breakfast wile over at the hospital as Nancy has been intubated and hooked up to a machine for the last 14 days as Doctor Rhodes, Doctor Choi, Doctor Halstead and Nurse Sexton performed an emergency operation by taking a biopsy on a tumour that was detected on a MRI when Sharon Goodwin arrives at her office and she finds Nancy's results on her desk and as she opens it she reads it and she's got a feeling that the news isn't good and she pages Doctor Rhodes who's in charge of her care. A few minutes later as the time reads 7:30am Doctor Rhodes comes to the office and knocks on the door.
"Come in Doctor Rhodes"Sharon says. As Doctor Rhodes takes a seat Sharon Goodwin hands over Nancy's MRI results. "These should've come back after a few days it's been two weeks"Dr Rhodes says. "I know Doctor I had to chase them up for you and received them minutes ago"Goodwin says. "Thanks Sharon"Doctor Rhodes says as he opens it and. "Sharon the results shows that the tumour in Nancy's brain is cancerous"Doctor Rhodes said. "OMG thats awful news"Sharon says. "It reads that it's Stage 3 and it's"Doctor Rhodes says. "What's wrong"Sharon asks. "When we opened her up we noticed that the tumour is wrapped all of the way round her Hippocampus and the surrounding arteries"Doctor Rhodes says. "What's been happening"Sharon asks. "We've been trying to reduce the tumour with medication but it hasn't worked"Doctor Rhodes says. "Thats not good"Sharon says. "I know Sharon I don't know what to do"Doctor Rhodes asks. "Firstly you've got to tell Christie and Matt whats going on and I'll get our Neurosurgeon down here to see what can be done"Sharon says. "Thanks for helping me I'll get them to come down as soon as they can"Dr Rhodes says.
While Doctor Rhodes goes to his own office he gets out his cell phone and he dials Matt Nancy's son who's at home looking after his wife and family when his cell phone goes off. "Your cell is going off it's the hospital"Gabby says. "I'll put it on loud speaker so you can hear too"Matt says. "Thats a good idea"Gabby says. As Matt answers his cell and puts it on loud speaker. "Hello am I speaking to Matthew Casey"Doctor Rhodes says. "Yes I'm Matt is that you Doctor Rhodes"Matt says. "Yes it is"Rhodes says. "What can I do for you Doctor"Matt asks. "We've got your mums results from your mums MRI scan we was wondering if you and your sister can come in"Doctor Rhodes asks. "Sure we'll be in as soon as we can I'll get in touch with my sister and then we'll all be on or way"Matt says. "Come and find Sharon who'll page me"Doctor Rhodes said.
