"Did you manage to get hold of anyone"Matt asks. "No one is answering there cells I ahead to leave a message on Eva's cell phone asking for her dad to give me a call"Gabby said. "I'm getting worried about them Gabby"Matt said. "Since they all left for Wisconsin we haven't heard from them all"Gabby said. "Antonio was here when Louie woke up"Camila said. "I didn't see him"Gabby said. "He was only here for like 30 minutes"Camilla said. "He rushed off due to a phone call"Ramon said. "This is not like my brother at all"Gabby said. "He's only ever ignored us was he was working or undercover"Matt said. "If I remember that was for days sometimes"Gabby said. "That made stress when he was married to Laura"Ramon said.
While Gabby and Matt are both frantically calling Antonio's Brett's and Eva's cell's while over at Wisconsin as Antonio Brett Eva and Diego walk over to the car as there carrying there mums belongings. "Dad why did mum have to die"Diego asks. "The reason why your mom died was because her heart stopped beating as it couldn't cope with the pressure that it had to do and it all started when those kids pinched the car and when they ran a red light and crashed straight into your mums car"Antonio said. "But why did these kids have to steal the car"Eva asks. "That kids I can't answer"Antonio said. "Kid everyone dies just some people get a help with dying"Brett says.
As Antonio has approached his in-laws house and as he Brett Eva and Diego all walk into the house where Lance and Lorna have pulled up and as they walk in the house where they all sit down as Eva Dane Diego open th bag that was given them in the hospital and among the items they find two cuddly toys once brown teddy bear waits a hat on and the initial E on it and the other one a creamy teddy bear with the initial D on it. "Mum must've brought you them on her way back when the accident happened"Antonio said. "Why don't we talk about our memories we have off Laura"Lance says. "I don't want to talk about mum yet"Diego says. "Mums not even been dead two hours and you want to talk about her like she's alive"Eva says. "Eva thats not what your grandad was saying"Antonio said. "It's okay Antonio"Lorna says. "Dad can we go back home please"Diego asks. "Whatever makes you kids happy"Antonio said.
As Antonio Brett Diego and Eva all leave Laura's parents house and make the 2 hour and 44 minutes later journey back to Chicago and wile Antonio drives he calls his sister and brother-in-law to meet them at a place. As Gabby's cell rings who's at the hospital beside her son Louie who wake up this afternoon. "Finally Antonio you're calling back"Gabby said. "Can you meet me at Laura and my place"Antonio asks. "Sure what time do you want us there"Gabby asks. "3 hours time"Antonio said. "Sure bro we'll all be there"Gabby said. "See you there sis"Antonio said. As the two siblings finish talking Antonio carries on driving while Matt asks Gabby about the call.
"Babe was that your brother"Matt asks. "Yes it was"Gabby said. "What did he want babe"Matt asks. "He wants to see us all at there marital place in 3 hours"Gabby said. "How did he sound mija"Ramon asks. "As he was talking his voice was very different"Gabby said. "What do you mean Gabby"Camilla said. "It sounded like he was upset about something"Gabby said as Doctor Rhodes comes in the room and talks to Gabby Matt Ramon and Camilla. "When will Louie be leaving the ICU Doctor"Matt asks. "We're keeping him here tonight and all means well he'll be moving out sometime tomorrow"Rhodes said. "There is one other question I want to ask you"Matt said. "Go ahead Matt"Doctor asks. "My sister Christie wants to know when she'll be discharged"Matt says. "She's been awake since the 18th and we hear that her physio is coming along well"Gabby said.
"Yes it is but we don't want to rush things especially something like this"Doctor Rhodes said. "We understand doctor"Gabby said. "Is there anything else I can help you with"Doctor Rhodes asks. "Yes there is but we can't talk here"Matt said. "We'll talk outside"Rhodes said. "I'll come to babe"Gabby said. "Violet while your Aunt and I are talking to the doctor can you grab your things and your cousins stuff together"Matt asks. "Of course Uncle Matt"Violet says as Gabby picks up a crying Andrea from her car seat. "Can we see mum and Sean before we leave"Violet asks. "Yes of course Violet"Matt and Gabby both say. As Gabby carries Andrea out of the room with Matt and Doctor Rhodes and they walk over to the chairs where they all sit down.
As Gabby has undone her top she puts her daughter to her breast and straight away she starts sucking as Matt prepares himself to ask Doctor Rhodes something bout Jim. "We're out the room now Matt"Rhodes said. "I know that you're not a Cancer Doctor but how long as someone got left to live if they've got Stage 4 Kidney Cancer and it's spread to other parts of the body"Matt asks. "Well everyone's different and as everyone recovers at different rates"Doctor says. "Yes but this is very important Doctor"Matt asks. "Are you talking about someone in particular"Doctor asks. "Yes our niece's dad Jim Jordan"Gabby and Matt both say. "Well people who are diagnosed with Stage 4 any Cancer some people live for years others die much sooner after being diagnosed"Rhodes said. "Does Violet know anything"Doctor Rhodes asks.
"Yes Doctor but she only knows that her dad has got Cancer and Jim doesn't want Violet knowing that it's Stage 4 and thats its spread and will die eventually"Matt said. "Thanks for letting me know I'll make sure that it's put down on Jim's notes"Doctor said. As Gabby is breastfeeding Andrea still Doctor Rhodes leaves the parents and gets back to work as the parents walk back in the room to say goodnight to Louie Ramon and Camilla and grab Violet and all their belongings. "Louie mommy and daddy will be back here in the morning with your cousin Violet"Matt and Gabby both say. "Night mommy night daddy and Vii"Louie said. "We'll be staying here guys"Ramon and Camilla both say. "Thanks mum"Gabby said. "Love you Louie"Violet said. "Love you too Vii"Louie said in a soft voice.
"Why don't we go to the cafe to get something to eat before we leave the hospital"Gabby says. "I agree love as we need to be at your bothers place for 9pm"Matt said. As Matt Violet and Gabby who's breastfeeding Andrea all walk to the cafe upstairs in the Cancer Ward Jim Jordan has had his latest tests and scans 30 minutes ago and is recovering well from his procedures as he gets two visitors whom have arrived at the entrance of the ward and to get in they've got to sign in at the desk. "Hello there what can I do for you two"the receptionist asks. "We've come to see Jim Jordan"Christie asks as Doctor Callahan comes over. "I'll take it from here"Doctor Callahan says.
As Doctor Callahan takes Christie and Sean through the Cancer Ward to Jim Jordan's room and as the Doctor knocks on the door. "Jim theres two people who want to see you before lights go off"Callahan asks. "Let them in Doctor"Jim says. As Sean and Christie walk into the room they can't help but notice that Jim is in pain from his procedures. "Hello Jim Sean and Christie are here"Callahan says. "Thanks doctor"Jim says as Christie and Sean sit down next to the bed. "Jim how are you feeling"Christie asks. "I'm in pain and feeling very sore"Jim says. "Remember Jim you're not going through any of this on your own Jim"Sean says. "I appreciate all of this"Jim says. "Jim we're not taking no for an answer"Christie said. 'Why"Jim says. "We're doing all of this for Violet"Christie said. "True Violet needs all the memories of me before I die"Jim says. "We'll be here in the morning"Christie and Sean both say. "Okay"Jim says.
"What time does his Cancer Treatment start tomorrow as I've got a physio session as well"Christie asks. "Sometime in the morning don't worry I'll come and get you both a couple of hours before he starts"Callahan says as Antonio Brett Eva and Diego are almost home when Eva and Diego have weird thoughts that come into there heads. "Kids when we get in I want you to get changed into your night clothes and we'll all sit down together on the sofa"Antonio asks. "Why do we have to"they both ask. "I want to keep you both close to me"Antonio said. "Okay dad"Diego said as Gabby Matt Violet and baby Andrea leave the hospital and make their way down to meet Antonio Brett Eva and Diego. "Where are we going this late Uncle Matt"Violet asks. "We're off to see my brother Violet"Gabby says.
As Antonio and Brett pull up outside the house and Eva and Diego walk inside with their dad and Brett. "Remember kids"Antonio said. "Yes dad"they both say. "We'll be sleeping in the guest room Brett"Antonio said. As Eva comes out of her room holding onto the teddy bear that was the very last gift from her mom and as Brett starts talking. "I'm making food"Brett says. "I don't want anything from you"Eva says. "Eva you need to eat something"Brett says. "I don't want you here you're out my mum"Eva said as Gabby Matt and Violet all hear this as the door was left wide open. "Eva stop right there"Gabby said. "Why should I apologise to her for"Eva said as she runs straight outside leaving the back door wide open...
