"I know that they've lost there mum"Timothy says. "There only teenagers Timothy"Antonio said. "Eva Diego you know that I'm truly sorry that your mum as died"Timothy says. As Eva as raised her voice and. "My mum is dead and we've just buried her and we've got to carry on living our lives without her around"Eva says. "What do you want me to do"Timothy asks. "I want you to go and leave us alone as I never want to see your face again"Eva says. "Really"Timothy said. "Yes and also I'm blaming you for the death of our mum"Eva says as her voice is raised. "You heard my niece"Gabby said. "I agree exactly with my sister we're blaming you for our mums death"Diego says. "Fine then I'll leave if thats what you all want"Timothy says.
As Timothy leaves the churchyard before everyone Eva and Diego speak up. "Sorry dad for raising my voice and speaking to him like that"Eva said. "Eva that man shouldn't be even here in the first place"Antonio said. "What we said is true tho"Diego said. "Why don't we all head back to the house to top of our cars"Lance said. "I agree let's continue our memories and reflections of Laura Dawson back at the house"Halstead says. "I need to feed Andrea within the net 30 minutes or so"Gabby says. As everyone says there thank you to Father Bob Kabat for a lovely service and burial as Archie and Gavin have left to get some essentials from home before leaving for Chicago while back in hospital in Chicago Jim who's with Sean Miller Christie and Nancy Casey is. "Jim whats wrong"Christie asks. "Everything"Jim says. "I know after what we were told yesterday I'm still trying to get my head around it all and"Jim says. "Jim your hair is falling out"Sean says. "This is a side effect of the chemotherapy drugs that I was having"Jim says. "I wonder how Matt and Gabby are getting on with the funeral"Nancy asks. "Violets definitely gonna know that something is happening when she sees me with no hair"Jim says. "Why don't you have a drink of your water"Christie said. "Here you go Jim"Nancy said. "Thanks"Jim said. A Nancy pops the straw in Jims mouth and he takes a big gulp of it and "Jim why don't I fill that back up for you"Nancy said. "With all of this going on when can I be released from here"Christie said as the doctor came in the room and closed the door.
"Christie if you give your full support 100% of your physio session today at 3pm and tomorrows session in the morning you'll be released hopefully that afternoon/evening"Dr Simmonds says. "Is there a chance that I can do my physio session now"'Christie asks. "I'll have to have a look at my schedule then I'll be back down here straight away"Dr Simmonds says. "Speak soon doctor"Christie said. As Doctor Simmonds leaves the room Nancy helps Jim with his water while back in Wisconsin Antonio Brett Eva Diego Lance Lorna Camilla Ramon Stella Kelly Matt Gabby Violet baby Andre Voight Halstead Lindsay Olinsky Platt Sarah and Rachel are at the house when Antonio speaks up. "Before we all get bladdered theres one more thing that we need to do to honour Laura"Antonio says.
"Let's head to the lake"Lorna says."Laura loved it at the lake and it's the best way to remember her"Lance says. "I'll breastfeed Andrea while we walk to the lake then we can get back and Andrea can be put down"Gabby said. 10 minutes later everyone as arrived at the lake where everyone takes either a Lavender Marigold or a Tulip as Matt speaks up. "Now that everyone has a flower we're all going to close our eyes as we think about Laura then we'll throw it"Matt says. "I'm ready"Gabby said as she was breastfeeding Andrea. "Mom this is for you"Eva and Diego both say. "Laura my love this is for you"Antonio said. "Laura this is for you special girl"Lorna and Lance both say. "Laura thank you"everyone else said as all the flowers are now in the water.
Eva's POV
Todays been one of the hardest days of my life as I stand with my dad brother Aunt Uncle and the rest of my family and friends as we buried my mum who I looked up to as a long term friend not just as a mum. I don't know how I'm going to carry on without my best friend right beside me all I know is that I've got to make her proud in everything I do starting from right now but I've been finding it hard to get past one thing why would someone steal a car then cause an accident and killed my mom from her injuries.
Diego's POV
When I woke up this morning I knew that I had to try and keep it together for the funeral of my mum. I'm only a teenager and I'm struggling as it is ever since she died. My dad is doing his best for me and my sister so far but I can tell that he's struggling with my mums death too. I was told by my mum that some jobs people die on the job as my Auntie Gabby is a Paramedic and my Uncle Matt is a Lieutenant as a Firefighter.
Gabby's POV
When I woke up this morning right beside my sexy husband as our daughter is crying. I knew that today is the day we bury Laura and now that the funeral and burial are over and we're all walking back from the lake as I breastfeed Andrea. I feel like that I want to get bladdered but I know that I can't as I'm providing milk to feed mine and Matt's daughter and secondly I know that I'll regret it when I wake up tomorrow morning from having a real bad headache and showing self up.
Everyone has arrived back at the house where food and drinks are prepared...
