"Hello matt is Antonio and Gabby here I need to talk to them about Eva"Voight said. "They're both in the living room"Matt said. "Can I come in please"Voight asks. "Sure"Matt said. As Voight walks through the house and into the living room where Violet is with Gabby and Antonio. "Boss what are you doing here"Antonio asks. "I've come on a work basis not a social call"Voight said. "Violet why don't you take Andrea to your room and leave us adults to talk"Matt asks. "Okay Andrea let's go to my room"Violet said. As Violet carries her cousin go there room Matt joins Gabby and Antonio on the sofa when Sergeant Hank Voight speaks up. "Theres no easy way to tell you this but Eva is in the hospital"Voight said. "What's wrong with my daughter Voight"Antonio asks. "This sounds really bad"Matt asks. "It is really bad"Voight said.
"You're scaring us"Gabby said. "I'm just going to come out with it as theres no other way to say it I'm terribly sorry but Eva was raped"Voight said. "Can I see my daughter"Antonio asks. "How did this happen Brett told me that Eva was spending the afternoon with her best friend Sophie"Antonio said. "What have you got on the men who's done this to our girls"Gabby asked. "We're gonna catch the no matter what"Voight said. "Who's the doctor at the hospital"Matt asks. "Doctor Manning is the girls doctor and Lindsay and Burgess are there too"Voight said. For the next 10 minutes Gabby and Antonio are in a state of shock and in disbelief of who could've done this to an innocent vulnerable teenager after losing her mum. As Matt leaves his wife and brother law on the sofa he takes the Sergeant to the kitchen and he wants answers.
"Can I have a word Sergeant please"Matt asks. "Of course"Voight says. "I won't be far"Matt said as he walked over with Voight. "What's troubling you Lieutenant"Voight asks. "Firstly how did this happen"Matt asks. "We all know that this could've happened to anyone"Voight said. "But why Eva who's just lost her mum and went through this horrific ordeal"Matt said. "If I had a daughter and she went through this I would kill the guy once I put my hands on him"Voight said. "Thanks for coming round Voight"Matt said. "There is one other person who needs to be safe"Voight says. "You're on about Diego ain't you"Matt said. "Thats correct Matt"Voight said. "What can I do"Matt asks. "You need to get to the hospital and be beside Eva's bedside while I go and get Diego and bring him to the hospital with Brett"Voight said. "Ok Sergeant"Matt says.
"I'll see you both later"Voight said. "Where's Diego"Antonio asks. "I'm going to go and get him with Brett and bring them to the hospital"Voight said. As Voight leaves the house he gets a call from his team and its Alvin Olinsky on the end. "Boss we've gone through the camera footage and there both was looking away from the camera"Olinsky said. "They must've now the cameras was around"Voight said. "We're still trying to identify them both"Olinksy said. As Voight finishes talking with Olinsky he drives to Antonio's place back at the hospital Lindsay and Burgess are in the room and with Doctor Manning going over any other injuries when she's allowed to talk with the Detectives. "You can go back in with her"Manning said. "Thanks"Lindsay said. "Is there any news about her parents yet"Burgess asks. "We've let a message for them both"Doctor Manning said.
As Erin Lindsay and Kim Burgess walks back into the room and they sit down beside her and. "Why don't you start from the beginning and take your time"Lindsay said. "We came across this house with music playing and Eva wanted to have fun and let her hair down after what she's been through"Sophie said. "What happened next when you walked inside"Burgess said. "Once we revived inside the house just after 1pm Eva started drinking alcohol"Sophie said. "Did you drink any alcohol Sophie"Lindsay asks. "None at all only water"Sophie said. "What happens Sophie"Burgess asks. "We both danced for over 1 hours and then this boy was pestering Eva by asking her out then when he refused no for an answer he gave Eva a drink and said sorry"Sophie said. "Sophie what happened when Eva drank the alcoholic drink that the bloke gave her"Lindsay asks.
"It must've been at least 15 minutes after drinking the whole glass of alcohol she collapsed to the floor and I asked the bloke to take Eva upstairs and he did then his friend came over to me"Sophie says. "Sophie do you remember what happened next"Burgess asks. "Yes I remember"Sophie said. "Go ahead Sophie"Lindsay said. "A few minutes after Eva was taken upstairs his friend ordered me upstairs at that point I didn't know how my friend was"Sophie said. "What happened when you arrived upstairs"Burgess said. "When I arrived upstairs I was ushered into the room where I found my best friend half naked on the bed the bloke half naked too and a camera that was set up"Sophie said. "Was you told to doo anything"Lindsay asked. "Yes I was told to do something"Sophie said. "Go ahead Sophie"Burgess said. "I was told to record it and watch him do it otherwise I'll kill and your friend with his knife"Sophie said.
"Sophie we're nearly done here"Lindsay said. "Okay"Sophie said. "Sophie during any of this was there any names mentioned"Burgess asks. "The only name that was mentioned was Archie"Sophie said. "Would you be able to know how old he looked"Lindsay asked. "Roughly I'd say early 20's and they both roughly 5 foot"Sophie said. "Thanks Sophie you take a rest"Burgess said. "How's Eva doing"Sophie asks. "Not soo good is all we can tell you at the moment Sophie"Lindsay said. "I don't want to be left on my own"Sophie said. "We both understand you"they both say. As Lindsay and Burgess walk out the room and come across Doctor Manning. "Isabella everything okay"Doctor Manning asks. "She's gave us a full statement"Lindsay said. "Thats good isn't it"Doctor Manning said. "Yes it is but she doesn't want to be left alone"Burgess said. "We've got to get back to the District to get her statement processed and update everyone"Lindsay said. "I'll get Doctor Reese down here"Doctor Manning said.
As Doctor Manning pages Doctor Reese to come and sit with Sophie while Detective Lindsay and Officer Burgess leave the hospital and head back to District 21 where Officer Ruzek, Officer Atwater, Detective Olinsky and Detective Halstead have returned as well. "We've got a full statement from Sophie stating every detail of what had happened"Lindsay said. "We're looking for two men in their early 20's and we know that one of them is called Archie"Burgess said. "Okay"Atwater said. "The cameras didn't pick up anything as they avoided being seen"Olinsky said. "We've brought all the evidence back and they're being processed including the house"Ruzek said. "We've got the photos that we took and here's the first lot that are up loaded"Halstead said.
As the photos are on there computer now the first ones that have popped up are of Eva being half naked including showing all of her bruises over her entire body. "Poor Eva she must've been terrified"Platt said as she walked over to them. "Trudy we found evidence that Eva was drugged is she couldn't have known what was happening to her"Halstead said. "We've all got to be here for them all especially our brother and sister"Burgess said. "We all agree"they all say. "Where's Voight gone"Platt asks. "He went to tell the family"Ruzek said. While all the evidence is still coming in Antonio Gabby and Matt have arrived at the hospital with their daughter after leaving Jim and Violet with Christie and Sean. "We've come to see our Eva"Antonio asks. "Come with me I'll take you all to Doctor Manning"Maggie says.
As Maggie walks Antonio Gabby and Matt who's pushing Andrea in her troller and they meet Doctor Natalie Manning. "Can we see Eva please"Antonio asks. "I've got to warn you as we've just got her bloods back and it's not good news"Doctor Manning said. "What's wrong with her"Gabby asks. "Eva was drugged with the Date Rape Drug and we've had to intubate her as she was having trouble breathing on her own"Doctor Manning said. "We'll wait out here at the moment for Brett and Diego"Matt said. While over at the Dawson house Voight has arrived to pick up Brett and Diego. He walks from his car up the path and knocks on the door and Brett answers it. "Hello Voight Antonio's not here"Brett said. "I know that he's at the hospital with Gabby and Matt"Voight said. "Okay I better grab Diego"Brett said as she walked through the house to find Diego now where to be seen and his room tossed...
